Hi everyone!
I've been gone quite a while I know and my deepest apologies for that. GAIA is so addicting and between work, our side business doing history presentations, volunteer work, and ghost hunting I just kind of fell behind on GAIA, but it did let me get a lot of work done. smile
Soo much has changed! I'm a mommy now...well sort of. I guess you can say a surrogate mommy. My husband met his kid half-brother for the first time last November after his father died. It turns out it was good timing because he was having a lot of trouble at home with a very unstable home life which was growing worse by the minute. Eventually the police removed all of the children from the house and we stepped up and took him in. He is 12, and extremely smart (maybe more than me XD LOL) and is a joy to have around.
Raising a boy is a new thing for me. My family has always been girls and I always thought my life was too crazy to think of having kids. Go figure. Sometimes the strangest things happen when you least expect them. ^-^
Anyway I have been missing you guys and thought I would stop back and say hello. I see a lot of familiar faces are still around! smile
