Autobot Ratchet: Re-Animator?

That's right. In the next Transformers cartoon which will be named Transformers: Prime, Ratchet will be voiced by none other than Jeffrey Motherslagging Combs, best known as the star of the cult hit Re-Animator horror movies.

If Ratchet holds up a glowing green anything in this series, or if he happens to be on hand if Prime does his Jesus act again, immeasurable levels of EPIC and WIN will be achieved.

I recognized the name for different reasons. He was Weyoun and Brunt on DS9. He was aslo the Question on Justice Leage Unlimited. Having seen him both live and animated before I'm looking forward to his Ratchet.

Now they need Armin Shimerman as Swindle and Rene Auberjonois as Ultra Magnus. (I'm kinda hoping for their rivalry from the current comics.)

More info about the show, apparently a promotional image shows a bit of Bumblebee and he's looking a whole lot like the Bay movie version, fueling speculation that the cartoon will be connected to the movie universe.

10/10/2010 . . . . The day of Prime. It's coming.

My main concern is that this is aimed on "The Hub" on one of the discovery channels I do not get. I would really rather not lose out on the show because I don't want to pay another massive load each month for channels I won't watch.

or u could go onto the hub's website (now called discovery kids website) they have videos. I don't get that channel either so i am looking at other ways to watch them. If i have to watch them on youtube i am subscribed to a person who has a ton of TF series. O BTW Peter Cullen is going to voice Optimus on TF razz rime

A friend of mine mentioned that Cullen was going to attach himself to this, but nothing was confirmed. Is it? Has it been confirmed that the sagely vocal God that is Cullen is resuming the iconic voice of my childhood?! eek

Yes, it's been confirmed. The true Optimus Prime is returning. Not that I have anything against the Monkey and Megatron Prime, but I think it's great the original guy is back.

Huzzah for originals! xd Truth be told, I do love Peter Cullen as a voice actor. If he's going to be on the show, I would definately give it a shot. 3nodding
