Hello ladies, so I've been losing weight for quite a while now so you'd think I would have this figured out by now... but how much weight gain is normal when you're on your monthly cycle? The most I ever usually gain for that week is 3 lbs but this week I've gained 5. I'm not too distressed because I'm sure at least 3 lbs of that is just from water retention and hormones, but still. How much do you consider normal and can be attributed solely to your cycle?

I went up by about three and things are just getting started. I've not paid a lot of attention otherwise. >_>

Last time it was around 4, though I don't usually check.

You weight, even when you're not on your period, can fluctuate either way by about 5 lbs due to water weight, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
