What are the things that have been instilled in ou since birth? Yes, I'm asking, what are your morals? Do you think you share the same views as others or do you fee lthat you're a bit to the left of society? Do you think that your religion corresponds with your morals or that they are two different things?

The most important factor in my beliefs and morals is the fact that I was a military brat. All the way up through high school I had to move every year or so, so I was introduced to many cultures and different sets of beliefs. From these experiences I was able to caste off the cultural relativism that abounds so much in America today and realize the full potential of intellection. All of my other beliefs derive solely from within my self, or from what I can observe from nature.

As for me, I think my believes are totally different from the polish society a -most of the poles are conservative, I am the opposite b- I am an atheist, and so I am called Satan by some people in poland. c- I do not thing that being poor is something "cool" d- I have morals( in that sense that i for example do not steal , which is almost accepted in the society)( cheating is 100% accepted)

Well....I'm christian. *giggles* In fact, I'm a missionary! But I think it's wrong to keep at it with people who obviously don't want to talk about it, unless the spirit leads me that way. 3nodding I hate it when people preach to me, so what right do I have to preach to them, if they don't want me too.
My morals are not just morals, they are oaths. Well, the main 5 are. *nodds* Blood oaths, actually.... sweatdrop but I don't generally tell lots of ppl, because they get creeped out....but it was the only way I could think of that every religion would honor them and I would remain untouched. And it works. Oaths made in blood can only be broken in death.
1) Oath of absitnence.
2) Oath against alcohol.
3) Oath against mind altering drugs.
4) Oath against unbiblical divorce.
5) Oath of service to God.
And that summs up my morals! Well, those and your basic good to humanity stuff. 3nodding I strive to make people happy, but not to the point of being walked over. I get mad when ppl are jerks. 3nodding

I never knew you actually were one, I thought you were going to be one. And yes preaching to those who don't want to hear it is...dumb.

this has turned out to be quite a deep thread. so i give koodos to you topaz! uh..ill do a list thingy like other people...not in any real order
1. A person has the freedom of choice to do/be/believe/act the way he/she wants as long as it doesn't conflict with the personal freedoms of another individual and doesn't cause harm to other people or their things. (basically, i have no problems with races, sexuality, profession, religion, etc...) 2. Lying, cheating stealing (in any form)=bad 3. murder isn't right no matter what context you put it in. (im against death penalty, and war and im a pacifist- there is always anotehr way) 4. these are basic rules..which are VERY GRAY and FLEXIBLE, there are many exceptions and judgemnt calls. for example- i belive in pro-choice, and i don't liek the death penalty casue i think its the easy way out, nto becasue its inhumane.
um thats all i got for now.

Would that be far left conservative or not so conservative? Wow wha, cheating is acceptable?hehe a funny story here , one of the so called teachers was eating lunch during one of the lessons .So the students were all rewriting down and nagging at me " heheh you do not cheat, I do not need to learn to get good notes" Then i told the director, and as the director can't say that cheating is good. The teacher's not letting them rewrite their homework during class anymore, but she say things like" that psycho is not letting you rewriting" or " You can't rewrite down, because that idiot does not like it" Now i started a war against cheating and rewriting,Of course I am bullied because of that, but well. I was bullied before to, so there is no difference. ( ohh and the polish kids constantly brag about, how good the y are at cheating... no response from the teachers.)
