I have heard that FFXIV is going to be .... a MMORPG!!!!!!!!! It supposedly is like a better version of FFXI
what do you thinK?

MMORPGs aren't worth it. I would rather have a solid story line with solid characters that actually have a purpose to the story line.
EDIT: It is like 11, but isn't exactly. They have a different world instead of Vana'diel and new races and things. For instance, humans aren't Humes, they are something like Hyur.

It's coming to the PS3, apparently so hell yes, I'm getting it =D My dad's also getting it too for his pc.
There's not much difference to races between 14 and 11, actually. They're all the same. Different names, of course and different modification like the Tarutarus are taller and the Galkas have no tail D:

I voted No, but will actually try it out since I missed out on FF11 for the lack of funds. Anyways, the reviews I read about FF11 wasn't really good. Even here, in this thread, it doesn't sound too good, so I'm kinda expecting to be disappointed, BUT I'll still try it out anyways.

there is nothing wrong with grinding....just how FF did it made the grinding aspect of the game unplayable.
If you look at World of warcraft from after beta it took a while to reach 60 but getting gold was a grind fest in itself.
100% speed mounts back then cost 1k gold for both mount and training together.
now its like 100 and at lv 40.
I am not saying wow is better. Final Fantasy 11 was nice that the classes were more like the early games (Black mage White mage ect.) and the fact that chocobos were in it also made me like it. It was the Grinding on everything that made it annoying.
Wow use to be like that...now it's a farming game.
Grinding=going on and on with a certain goal till it's done (like getting to max level or getting a profession to a certain point)
Farming= doing the same s**t over and over till you get what you want. (More for items.)

Missed out on FFXI myself! (Although it is actually sitting on my shelf) ._. I didn't have the money for it and now well... FFXIV is coming out so... I'd rather play XVI. Definately getting it! Although I don't know which version.. I've heard that people using PS3 won't be able to interact with those on PC... My friend only has the PC and I want to play with her! Q-Q But my PC doesn't seem to play games on it that well. v-v I sincerely hope this information is wrong. ._. I think I would rather get the PS3 version. >.>

I'm kinda interested, so I may get it (that is if a family member *coughbrothercough* doesn't get it before me, then I'll just play it once their done... It's the same with FFXIII, but I wasn't planning on buying it).
