An area of about five buildings, each around 2-3 storeys high, in the traditional Japanese style. Surrounded by a high brick wall and a trio of wooden gates. Inside is a small training area, and in the middle of the buildings is a beautiful garden with a pond and bench.

Ken slipped through the gates of his family's compound, headed toward his room. He had a feeling Sosay would be planning to send a team after Kano, and just in case, he wanted to have his things packed and ready at a moment's notice...not to say he'd walk around with a fully loaded pack, but having his bag ready near his bed would be good, just in case.

His bag packed and ready, he took one last look at it, then strapped his sword to it's usual spot over his back. He looked inside his jacket: the shuriken pouch on one side was full with shuriken and other small supplies, and his notebook occupied the other inside pocket. His kunai holster he kept belted to his hip like most shinobi: easier access that way.
He looked at himself in the mirror and adjusted his headband, his hair falling in front of it a little.
He wanted to get some training in. He needed to, if Sosay wanted to send people after Kano.
He left his room, headed for the training field.

Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - [Enter from: Ramen shop] Ken unlocked the gate around the compound to let himself and Sosay in, then closed it, but didn't lock it, behind them. He smiled and led her over to the garden, letting go of her hand to go sit down on the bench. He smiled over at her. "Come on, sit down, relax." he said. Sosay followed Ken into the little garden she had been in before. Her smile widened as she looked at the familiar scene around her. "I missed this place!" she quietly muttered as she sat down by Ken.

Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - "Well, welcome back." Ken said with a smile. She knew she could have come at any time, if he was home, to come hang out...even before she became Raikage. He looked over at her and smiled, not really sure of what to say, so he looked at the pond, and the fish that swam lazily inside. "Thanks!" she replied, looking up at the clouds. How she wished to be them if only for a second. "So what's new with you? I feel like we hardly see each other now?" she asked, holding back a yawn.

"Had a birthday not too long ago." Ken said with a smile. "Other than that, not much. I've been training with what I know, but I need a teacher...and maybe a squad. The chunin exams are almost on us, and I've yet to do a mission." he said, looking over at her, then up at the clouds.

Sosay pouted. "I missed your birthday!?" she asked. "I didn't get you anything... Oh! Wait! I've got something for you!" she replied. Leaning over, Sosay gently kissed Ken on the cheek. It was a mere peck, but enough to show him that she was sorry for missing his birthday, and possibly how she cared.

Ever since the attack on her office, he'd been on alert, because she said she may have a mission for him. Now, everything seemed to have calmed down.
