This is just for those of you who like to see other's team configurations and the types used. Maybe you'll like something you see. ^.^
Mine is:
(Shiny) Lapras, Female, lvl 50
(Shiny) Gardevior, Female, lvl 50
Amphoros, Lightning, female, lvl 50
Lugia, Hermes, lvl 54
Typhlosion, Magma, Female, lvl 50
Onix, Rocky, Male, lvl 47
Other Pokemon of interest?
Shiny Lugia, lvl 70
Shiny Eevee
Shiny Corsola
Shiny Staryu
Shiny Vulpix
Shiny Dustox, lvl 16

My current battle team needs some adjustments. Long story short, I don't have a good answer for Gyrados, and that's really crippling. I keep all my Pokémon at level 60.

My current adventuring/finish-story-mode team is:
Weepinbell
Kangaskhan
Wobbuffet
Ampharos

I'm pretty much scattered all over the place. I prefer to use ghost and psychic types though.
Here are my favorites:
-Umbreon
-Espeon
-Gengar
-Gardevoir
-Gallade
-Tangrowth
-Magenezone
-Salemence
-Houndoom
I've encountered only 4 shines. They are:
-Lopunny
-Gastly
-Pichu
-Crobat

Right now I'm trying to find a good flying type to switch out with my Lugia. I don't like using Legendaries too much. ^.^;
And I got very frustraited with my Gyrados, so I switched it out for Lapras. I believe it works better.

My Original Firered Party:Charizard Lvl.100 , Mewtwo lvl.81, Pigeot(or however you spell it=p) Lvl:74,Poliwrath lvl:67, Beedrill lvl.58, Gengar lvl.62

@Arkie: The Clefable's purpose isn't really for sweeping, really. Rol can tell you.

I'll fight a battle or two...
Oh I suppose...but it's a nice trump card when one does pop out.
Besides, even without STAB, a thunderbolt will still hit Gyarados for 4x damage, since he's both water and flying...super bad type match...as is fire and flying...4x weakness to rock...

My only exception would have to be Mewtwo, only because ever since Gen 1 He's been the most awesome pokemon to me and even if he wasn't legendary I'd still use him. Now if only there was a way to get the MecaMewtwo =)
