Anyone have any secular New Year's resolutions that they'd care to share?
My big goal for 2006 is to get published. A short story, probably, and who knows where, but I'm going to try to be published before this time next year. It's like my life dream, and now's the time to start working for it.
I'd also like to get into college, but that's going to spill over a little into 2007 unless I apply early somewhere.

i don't believe in the whole "new years resolution" thing. i'm pretty sure its just adapted from judaism anyway. and doesn't making resolutions after a day of fasting and atonement make more sense than after a night of boozing?

uh i don't really make revolutions.. like i can't stay on track long enough to think of one.. if you all wanan help me make a resolution thingie i'd gladly make that my resolution rolleyes

Any new years resolutions this time? xd i don't make resolutions. i make "general improvement goals". basically, what with all the elul introspection, i try and find some area of my life i've screwed up in over the past year, and tell myself to fix it. recent ones have been cleaning up my mouth, and thinking of my brother whenever i go shopping for clothes and stuff. nothing drastic, but things need fixing.
