They probably don't sell it just yet, but I'd check ThinkGeek and if you're in the US, WhoNA is great.

You know, you could easily make your own "real" functioning Sonic Screwdriver. Takes about 20mins if you have the inspiration for it.

A true, fully functioning Sonic Screwdriver? that's a whole different thing. Takes about 2hours to make, easy to set up the full frequency list and casing and if your doing that you might as well make a Laser Screwdriver but even then you need to work out the power problem and that's a secret I don't wanna share.

People make them to turn off lights and computers, some just use the 10th's toy and modify it. There are tutorials all over the net if you ever feel like doing it though.

And in the mist we all get lost.

For Christmas my mom ordered a sonic screw driver for me. It was on back order until February 26. When I saw that it got zapped and he got a new one I wanted to cry.

Asda has started selling the 11th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver, price is £14.97 and Argos is selling it for £14.99 plus they have a figure set will two 11th Doctor in for the same price

I'm loving mine. If I take it out during theatre, one (or more) of 4 things happen.
1. one girl friend pretends it's a taser. rolleyes
2. different girl friend pretends it a wrinkle remover. O.o
3. one guy friend whips out his future Sonic Screwdriver (the River Song one). xd
4. other guy friend spazzes out and is like "OMGIloveDoctorWhoit'slikethegreatestshowintheworld etc." rofl

In short: theatre people = lol.
PS: We have a show tomorrow. Wish us damaged extremities.

I went out and got the tenth sonic screwdriver and the guy at the counter's like "We have the new one if you want it?" and I'm like "No, I like this one" TENnant is my favorite so... biggrin

Ok, simple put:
www.thinkgeek.com has both of the sonic screwdrivers (9th+10th doctors and the new 11th doctors)
They do not have the classic sonic screwdriver(8th doctor and before)
The 9th/10th doctor screwdriver cost $20 american, it is also a uv pen.
The 11th doctor screwdriver is $25 american.

I did find a site that sold both of them for $10 less than that price.

Sonic Screwdrivers from Thinkgeek

Thinkgeek has a variety of Sonic Screwdrivers. The have 9+10, 11, and 3 versions. They also have the new 11th diecast sonic screwdriver and a 9+10 sonic screwdriver key chain

Ok, now I have TWO sonic screwdrivers. I have the Nine/Ten one (that was just a pen light) and the Eleven one (which is spring loaded and makes sounds and is awesome).
