who was cooler in death?
i think the manga. anybody who can O.D. that cool deserves props.

I think that the anime version gave him more introspection on his life. In the manga, his death was more drawn-out and poignant.
I really think that the "Trigun" manga and anime are almost two separate series with common characters and a similar theme. It's not like "Bleach", where the anime follows the manga for several seasons before diverging.
