Items at 20 eggs, 30 eggs, and 50 eggs (100 total).
You get about 2 per minute, event runs until Wednesday night.
I have a set if anyone is too lazy to get them blaugh

Wednesday? That should be doable. I'm only halfway to the first item on one character, looks like I'll have to speed it up a bit.
And does anyone else think the Grunny on it's back on the background header is just adorable?

So I've got doubles of some of the chickens from zOMG if anybody needs them/can't do zOMG. :O I have 2 extra cheepies (the asian one), and one extra chicky (the eyebrow one).

You catch the chickens by clicking on them, but they have to be ones hatched from easter eggs not the talking ones around the screens. So pretty much look for any lonely chicken in an awkward place, and if it doesn't talk, it'll just be like "You grabbed a ___!"

I clicked the shops and forums tabs about five times each. Then if that didn't work I'd browse through the announcements of each subforum. Like I said I was getting about two per minute this way, but it varied a lot.

I'll try to get a second set for anyone who needs it.
EDIT: Got the second set, if anyone needs it, speak up!
As for tips, the best pattern I did was to check the Forums, World and Games tabs more often than the first three. Certainly no guarantee on making them appear, but it worked. (As well, I would scroll down, hover the mouse over the small link at the bottom to the Forums page, and just repeat, so all I had to do was scroll.)
