who else has trouble shiny hunting? I have been trying to catch a shiny Pachirisu for 4 days with no success.

a attempt at a shiny snover. got at 19. and a stinkin sneasle ruined it.

no, I usually get to 40 and reset the poke thing that makes the grass wiggle so I can get a shiny, but it didn't happen, so I got a few more and then stupid mareep ended my streak.

The only time I got a shiny was over Mystery Gift... but it wasn't really technically shiny, it was a Pikachu-Colored Pichu.

Well, aside from the mandatory red Gyarados in HG/SS, I've fished up a gold Magikarp, and found a shiny Zubat...I had to kill it though, cause I didn't have any balls that I could spare (All I had on me at the time was the Master Ball)
And if we're going and talking about the other games as well, I've got a black Rayquaza

I got a shiny Pichu [not the Pikachu-colored one] in Pokemon Platinum.

I've caught a shiny buizel and a shiny Roselia, but the funny thing is I got them both with low streaks which is very rare. I caught my buizel at 9, and my Roselia at 16. I* have a shiny spoink as well, but I got that from wendy XD
I've been trying to catch shiny mareep for days with no success whatsoever. I think the highest I got for mareep was 25.

What, shinies? Because they're rare and valuable... It gives me something to brag about to my friends. Fufufu...

Hoshioni i dont get why poeple want them
shinies are different colored then regular pokemon and are very rare to get when you're not using cheats to get them. I like having shinies because I think they're different and unique compared to regular pokemon, though their stats are not affected by their shininess.
