I was keeping snowflake obsidian with me because i wanted to be more aware of myself and bring about change that was needed, but literally the day after i started holding it it broke in half >_< what does that mean? I also havent really had the time to do a cleansing of it other than running it under water.

Quote:
Snowflake obsidian is for balance of the polarities in true Oneness. It sharpens external and internal vision and brings out the Radiant glow from within. It is a catalyst in bringing about change.

It means it isn't for you...not right now. Maybe you got the wrong stone. This could mean you picked the wrong Snowflake Obsidian, or the wrong kind of stone.

I love Snowflake Obsidian. smile Stones aren't my thing, but I have a few, and it's just like any other magickal tool...if it gets broken or misplaced, it's not right for you to have at that time.

Though this may or may not have any baring on your situation I've recently heard tell of an increase in the sale of fake crystals. Yours may have been fake or had an internal flaw that caused its break so just bare that in mind.

Also, maybe you should think about carrying a different crystal. Are there any qualities you feel would benefit you that another crystal holds?

It means you should handle your crystals with some more care next time.

I would assume there was probably some internal flaw in the stone that caused it to break.

What would an internal flaw be?

An internal flaw might be a bubble or a crack. Something that upsets the consistency of the stone. A flaw would make it more likely to break

It probably means nothing. I knew this one kid who thought crystals could break when they were use incorrectly and he thought some crystals could mend/repair broken crystals. That is not physically possible. Science does apply to religion, at lest to the visible. So the stone most likely had small fracture planes in it and just broke as stones naturally do.

Don't make it out as some crazy sign from the astral plane that you are not ever to be aware of yourself or whatever. Just chill.

I had the same thing happen to me with a piece of crystal quartz. It just so happened that I was in the same place where it broke that I got it from, which was a trip to my brother's in Florida. So I decided to bury it.

I figure it's most likely because I had dropped it a few times already, and crystal quartz isn't necessarily the strongest stone ever, although, I did use to charge it a lot.

I would say that it left you because you were done with it. My tools have a habbit of disapearing or asking to be lost too.

I had a Zoisite break when I put it in my pocket with other stones, It may be something as simple as it was a stone with a weak point. like if you hit a diamond just right it shatters. depending on how often stones break for you and what happened to the stone before you got it, it may just be a freak occurrence. unless there is some thing you feel from it that seems wrong or "just not right" then it may just be a accident. It's a good thing it wasn't one of the really expensive hard to find stones though smile

This pickled vegetable...

It just means that you got a flawed crystal. You should complain to whoever sold it to you and get your money back.

... could kick your a** !!
