I see. Well, I'm pretty sure your girlfriend wont leave you over something like that if she loves you enough. Is there something like that for other series as well?

No, that's just how we joke. My friends did laugh and say "We want to play that. But only once." Turns out its actually a pretty fun game.

@ Thimbalina - I haven't tried that game myself. I don't even have a Wii. But isn't there a DS version too?

Matt Pniewski Yeah, but it's so nerdy i worried about my girlfriend breaking up with me because of it. I mean, after buying it my virginity automatically grew back..... Don't worry about it, I fell in love with Star Trek less than a year after I feel in love with my now fiance'. Try to make her a fan if she has any intrest in Science Fiction I'm sure she'll eventlly love the show too.

Yeah, it would be great if there was a DVD remake of this game. Although, I don't think TNG is as popular as TOS now because of the movie from last year.

I've never checked, but I suspect my own copy could get a DVD upgrade if I brought it somewhere competent to get it converted.
I think we could start a groundswelling of interest, then start an online petition, if we wanted to. None of it would force Paramount or anyone to make a new game, but it WOULD get their attention. They're generally smart enough to TAKE our money if we're willing to part with it.
Me, I'd LOVE to see another version for DS9. I'd buy one for Voyager or the new movies if it was offered.
The VHS games actually only sold for a fairly short time. AFAIK, this was the first one:
"Nightmare." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmosfear_(series)
Apparently, THAT company released a DVD version.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gatekeeper_(Atmosfear_series)
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/286534/yes-my-gatekeeper
I think I still have the original VHS of THAT in a closet somewhere also.
I never ever saw the Star Wars one. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Interactive_Video_Board_Game http://www.echostation.com/echo3/vcrgame.htm
============= BTW, the game is for 2-6 players, but IMHO your best chances of winning are with 3-5 players.
