There was a "The Doors Vs The Kinks" thread I saw today. Weird thing is, over half of the votes were for the Kinks! sad I think the Kinks are a great band, but they should not be ahead of The Doors.
Do you agree with me? Or not?

i definately agree with you on that one but what would be a great competition would be the dorrs vs the beatles or the doors vs the stones either case i pick the doors

I agree infinity percent. I don't think The Kinks can even be rightfully compared to The Doors.

I couldn't possibly choose gonk It just bothers me when people try to compare bands of two different eras. There was this board I saw once that said, "Aerosmith vs. The Beatles". I'm thinking, "Uh...? You can't compare those...Beatles is more 60s and Aerosmith is more 70s and 80s." The posts were rather amusing.
