That had not just happened. Bataar fell to his knees after the kick to his crotch, gasping in both shock and dizzying pain. That had been the ultimate low blow and he'd been the victim. How could Jianyu even call himself a man after that?! The maroon Lunarian found himself curled into a small ball of pain before he knew it. He was almost positive he'd never be able to have children.
"You... little..." His cursing was vehement at this point, although his voice was slightly more high-pitched than it usually was, probably because of the damage that had just been dealt to him. This wasn't fair-- it was completely against the rules, right? It had to be. The pain was too severe; Bat would have rather taken an arrow to the leg any day. That was much more preferable.
If he ever got up again, he was going to butcher that Legionnaire.

Er... Jianyu mused, taking a few steps backwards. Perhaps kicking Bataar in the groin was not the best idea...
As it was, Jianyu was quite at a loss for what exactly to do. He knew that Bataar was stronger than him physically, and his bow was not yet ready to be given back to him, so his options at the time being were quite limited. Jianyu's mind tried to work through the small amount of things that he could do, and settled for the one he thought was the most wise.
He ran.
Darting under the outstretched arms of patrons everywhere, weaving through the thick throngs of the Lunarians gathered around them, Jianyu hoped to high heaven that Bataar was not coming after him.
That, of course, was a false hope.

"No ******** way!" Bat shouted, watching as Jianyu began to run away(like the coward he was, of course). There was no way this Legionnaire was about to get off easy. And so, although Bataar certainly wasn't ready to get up again, he did. It wouldn't be the easiest thing to give chase in this situation, but he'd have to. Jianyu, after all, had evidently wanted some kind of death-wish fufilled when he'd decided to kick Bat exactly where it hurt.
The Mongol wasn't quite so delicate about his own run, however, and a chorus of "ouch"s and curses followed him as he pursued his opponent. "GET BACK HERE, PIPSQUEAK!" He shook his fist angrily, hoping he was absolutely terrifying Jianyu.
He was not about to let things end like this.

Jianyu heard the Noble's shouts behind him and quickened his pace. It was difficult to run through these crowded streets, and people were beginning to turn their heads in confusion. Vaguely he realized that running away was probably a bit stupid, but Jianyu was more agile and quick than he was physically adept.
Except now there was a fountain quite abruptly in his pathway. With a grunt of surprise, Jianyu placed his hands flat on the cold stone of the fountain and vaulted himself over it, getting a splash of water in his face in the process. Shaking his head, his now wet hair clinging to his cheeks in streaking clumps, Jianyu looked around, trying to find some place to hide until he could go back for his bow.

Bataar continued running, managing not to look terribly exerted in the process. He often had to run away from his own mother after he did something wrong, so he was pretty damned used to it although his frame wasn't nearly as set up for running and agility as Jianyu's. His only advantage was in the fact that he didn't care who he offended while going after the Legionnaire.
He splashed right on through the fountain, not even realizing that he was probably clean-ish now for the first time in weeks afterwards. His green eyes found Jianyu and he dove for the other Lunarian, his arms outstretched. "...I'll kill you!" It might have seemed strange, but the only thought on his mind was of pulling Jianyu's hair and having a catfight of sorts. It was probably because of the low blow that had started this entire fiasco.

With a surprised shout, Jianyu felt Bataar crash land into him, sending both of them crashing backwards into the fountain. An enormous wave of water drenched the both, and Jianyu let out an indignant squawk as Bataar's fingers closed around his hair, yanking hard. If there was one thing Jianyu was not willing to have touched, it was his hair.
And that made Jianyu quite...quite angry.
"YA DAMN b*****d!" Jianyu yelled, lashing out. He managed to land a kick directly in Bataar's stomach, knocking the Noble back a few inches, and then he rolled sideways in the fountain, water seeping into his clothes. "JUST TRY AND KILL ME, YA FRIGGIN MORON!"

Bataar was less than pleased to find himself inside the fountain, but at least he had Jianyu in his grips. This was not going to be a regular manly fight, either. It was becoming increasingly evident that Bat was more than willing to fight exactly like a girl was-- and there was no way in hell that any woman could have a clean fight. He splashed around trying to attack Jianyu with a series of bites and scratches, coughing as water entered his mouth.
Of course, the kick to the stomach certainly helped Bat not to drown. The water was ejected from his mouth, but so was all of his breath. He choked and gasped for a moment before regaining his composure, throwing himself back into the tussle.
"I WILL DEFINITELY KILL YOU! WHERE YOU KICKED ME... ONLY WOMEN KICK THERE!" The maroon Lunarian chomped down onto Jianyu's hand-- a trick that he had seen many rodents use against him. "Pfhh! WOMAN!"

"I AM NOT A WOMAN, YA DAMN MORON!" Jianyu yelled, then let out another indignant squawk as Bataar chomped down on his hand. He kicked out again as he struggled to release his fingers. A good, solid hit connecting to the Noble's knee had him quickly let go, and Jianyu let out a string of choice swear words, none of which were appropriate. Shaking his bruised hand, Jianyu gave a roar of irritation and flung himself on Bataar's back, his arm around the other Lunarian's neck as the splashed around in the fountain.
Somewhere, in the very depths of Jianyu's mind, he saw that it was sort of ridiculous, this scene they were making, but his annoyance with this Bataar was far too great to make him stop now.

Bataar yelled in fury as one of Jianyu's hits knocked into his knee and violently recoiled, breathing in sharply as he dealt with the pain. It didn't help the the Legionnaire was now on his back. "WELL YOU'RE NOT A MAN, EITHER, SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?" He attempted to roll over in the fountain, trying to take advantage of the fact that Jianyu was attacking from behind.
He gasped and choked a little, well aware of the scene they were making and hardly even caring; this Legionnaire deserved it! Besides that, Bat was actually beginning to have fun with the quarrel.

"I AM SO A MAN!" Jianyu screeched, hopping up onto Bataar's back like a monkey. He yanked on the other man's hair, toppling them both sideways again, and there was an enormous splash as water from the fountain cascaded over them and onto the ground beside it. Now completley sopping wet, his hair sticking to his face in unruly clumps, Jianyu let out a growl of irritation, kicking out with his foot again in an effort to reach Bataar, but he missed and ended up kicking the stone wall of the fountain instead.
Which, to put it mildly, hurt like hell.
Jianyu let out a string of obscene profanities, all of which had the nearby patrons gasping in disapproval and shock.
"DAMN NOBLE!" Jianyu yelled.

"YOU'RE NOT WORTH MY TIME, WOMAN!" Bataar attempted to twist and struggle against Jianyu, although it wasn't easy while the other boy was on his back. The maroon Lunarian was certainly at a disadvantage at this point, so all he could think to do was fall right back into Jianyu, who seemed to already be in pain for some reason. He figured he was heavy enough to kill the Legionnaire, anyway.
He hadn't counted on the fact that his head might smash into the back of the fountain, however, which resulted in the Mongol passing out almost immediately right on top of Jianyu.
It didn't much matter that he might drown, since they splashed almost all the water out of the fountain, at least.

Jianyu let out a snarl of irritation at Bataar's insult, but he stumbled back and there was a loud crack as the Noble's head hit the fountain wall. Within seconds Bataar was out, collapsing on top of Jianyu, who let out a surprised gasp as he was suddenly pinned beneath Bataar's prone body.
"Damn Noble -" he screeched, but as he fell back, the side of his head crashed into the stone bottom of the fountain, and then a potent blackness crept into Jianyu's vision.
"Damn...Noble..." he coughed out just before his eyes fluttered shut and he was, quite suddenly, knocked unconscious.
