Airstrip East Several open-air structures house a few planes and a couple of trucks in this part of the airstrip. On the far-east edge of the asphalt is the control tower, a three-story affair made mostly of wood and with a almost-makeshift-looking antenna on the top.

The airport was busy today if anyone was around. Here and there men could be found running around. All ten of them, if you managed to count, sported a similiar style of dress. Desert style military fatigues fit for the desert enviorment.
They seemed to be in the process of preparing for something. Two of them worked at backing a cargo truck into a desolate hanger. Two in particular were leaning up against opposing walls, being all hardcore badass.
One of them was in the process of climbing the control tower. This might have been less intereasting were it not for the fact that a sniper rifle was held to him by a strap. The remaining five were scattered here and there, working on seperate tasks or just lounging around. All of them attempting to look suitably badass for what was to come.
( OOC: Paj'ster approved. Event does not start until announced. CHEAP SETUP POST)

Driving on the airstrip was at least relaxing enough given that riding on sand made it nearly impossible to turn.
Still, Gabriel didn't feel at ease as he entered from the west, his cycle bringing a roar of life to what he presumed was an abandoned airfield.
"Funny..."
He thought to himself.
"I figured they'd have a plane fueled by now."
He paused for a moment, slowing his speed as he gave a customary glance around the airstrip. There was a control tower nearby...shoddy at best, but still a control tower. Also, there were a few hangars that he could inspect. Afterall, if they were planning to smuggle him out of the area, why expose the plane before it was necessary?
Gunning the engine, Gabriel continued down the airstrip.

(OOC: And I steal Opaj's idea and start naming goons from the Chatterbox...)
*BzZt* Exchange complete... *BzZt*
That was all DarthZander had to hear before he turned the key. The truck started up with a steady hum of the old engine. All of it was pretty well hidden in the shadows of the hanger they had chosen. Gave a pretty good view of everything outside of the building.
Beside him Tsike was sprawled out in the passenger seat. She stayed comfortable no matter what happened. Her gun, a Koch MP5 (sub-machine gun), was laid out loosely in her lap. She seemed intend on keeping it well polished, only flashing a thumbs up to him as her understanding. Mission on. Outside, Zeroya had just managed to reach the top of the control tower. He quickly droped down into a crouch and started to set up his rifle, dismantling and checking parts. He then started to set up the stand.
They might not have noticed Gabe, but that was only three of the group. Michiku on the otherhand was not going to miss him. She stood hidden in the door of the hanger across from the one the truck was in. As soon as her eyes fell on Gabe she was at work. Her oaken cane raising into the air with both hands wrapped around it. To any who saw her, she was concentrating hard on her task.
Which came to fruitation as a stream of fire shot from her and flew like a bolt across from her, meant to block Gabe's process with a wall of flames along the ground between the hangers. (Hers and the trucks. Across from each other)
That definetly raised the alert.
OOC EDIT: Barely a foot high. Distraction style...

Needless to say, the fire was unexpected.
Gabriel, however, wasn't about to let a wall of flame stop him from his date with destiny, whoever they were, they didn't know who they were dealing with.
He hoped.
Ducking his head down, Gabriel spun his handlebars to the side after reducing his speed. The bike, however, didn't wish to cooperate as it nearly flipped over in response to the sudden turn. Gabe's foot came down, giving the cycle some much-needed equilibrium as it ground to a halt a foot or two away from the wall of flame.
It was then that Gabe noticed something in the hangar to his left.
The person that caused the flame wasn't the only other one on the airfield.

Michiku fell to her knees as the trail of fire burned. It was tiring to use her 1337 magick skillz. Slowly, so as to not attract attention, she started to slink back into the shadows of the building.
In the meantime DarthZander gunned the engine. From slow to fast the truck took a massive jump. All it needed was a fire burst behind it to be a movie sequence. A quick turn of the wheel brought it around in Gabes' direction. The tactic they were using seemed pretty obvious. DarthZander pushed his foot down further as he brough the truck barreling towards Gabe at ramming speed.
Tsike was still laid out in the passenger seat. Her hand was resting on the window lever though, slowly turning the crack to roll it down.
Zeroya merely watched out of the corner of his eye as he worked. His gun was still not set up properly. And he was not firing from that height without a stand to adsorb the kick.

The truck barrelled out of the hangar, and Gabriel lifted his foot off the ground as he revved the throttle to his bike. He pulled the bike into a 180, spinning around so he was driving towards the truck.
His right hand slid downwards, temporarily drawing itself away from the handlebars as he went to grab his gun...
That was no longer there. Cursing beneath his breath, Gabriel turned quickly away from the truck, moving away from the flames as well.
He had a plan.
As soon as he could think of it, anyway.

DarthZander yelled out a curse as he quickly turned the wheel. Blessed Grand Theft Auto, teaching him how to drive. The truck only went off the ground maybe a few inchs that time. He luckily managed to catch it before it flipped though. This would give Gabe a good start on them even with the turn, putting some distance between.
Tsike did not believe in distance though. It was right up there with gravity on her scale. She leaned up as the window rolled down all the way. A tight hold on the inside of the truck with her legs, hand grasping the rearview mirror bar hard, and she was sticking out of the truck with half her body. The black mascara 'scars' beneath her eyes smudged in the wind. She could still kind of see though. At least enough to point her Kock in Gabes' general direction and start firing.

A smattering of rounds sparked against the ground as he zipped along, turning his head over his shoulder only once to notice that a woman had since leaned out of the cargo truck and began firing. A round caught him in the back, although the armor he had wore quickly compressed the bullet into nothing, leaving a painful welt in the small of his back, but nothing serious. Narrowing his eyes, Gabriel quickly turned to his left, landing him far on the driver's side of van. Now if only he had a way of getting rid of them...
The control tower.
Gabe smiled to himself. Damn he was smart. The wall of flame, however, would be a bit of a problem if he didn't hit it fast enough. But by then, he had put enough distance between himself and the wall that he should be okay if he was able to go full-throttle down the airstrip.
And that's just what he did. Pulling a complete 180 for the second time in the past minute, Gabriel fired his engine and went speeding towards the wall of flame that blocked his path.
Now if only he didn't get pegged in the head by a spare bullet...he might stand a chance.

Oh yeah, this guy was good. Kind of reminded Darth of (Insert Random Motorcycle game character here) and his badassery. But this was not the time to be admiring the guy. Instead he pulled another turn that caused the tires to screech and scream in protest. At the last moment he reached over and grabbed Tsike before she flew out the window when her foot slipped. This caused him to take the turn a bit slower though, putting even more distance.
Tsike let out a high pitch scream as she started to fly out the window. It got a whole lot quieter after Darth caught her, but now she crawled back into the cab. Certainly would not be pulling that stunt again. Though now she merely stuck her arm out the window and fired. This made aiming almost impossible.
Zeroya had just finished setting up as they started to come back. He watched for a moment as they moved. Then the fun got to start. A quick slid down as his shoulder hit the rest on his stand. Muzzle forward, butt to his shoulder, eye at the scope. Wait for it...
And then a bullet exploded from the muzzle.

OOC Your choice Hero. For sake of arguement, my tracking kind of shows Zero to be to the right of them currently. So a horizontal shot. Also, he is a level 5 if you decide its worth a roll.
If you decide to roll, roll two D20 and add their levels. First one attack, second defense.

Bullets continued to whiz past him, although they obviously weren't fired with any real sort of aim. He jerked his bike first to the right, then to the left, weaving back and forth on the airstrip as he neared the wall of flame. From there, he'd have to angle hard to his right in order to complete his plan. Still, he slowed down slightly. This needed to be perfect.
He wasn't taking into account that a sniper was in the tower.
Nor that he had just fired a bullet.
(I'll roll, it seems to be a fair enough way.)
The round (noticeably larger than the submachine gun rounds) whizzed past Gabriel, landing in the ground behind him with a solid *thunk* that, quite frankly, frightened him. There was a sniper nearby.
Still, that didn't stop him from hitting the wall of fire going nearly 80 mph, blowing through the flame as if it were nothing more than a slick spot in the road. He emerged no worse for the wear, aside from a small amount of soot that clung to portions of his face. He looked behind him, slowing down considerably as he attempted to get the truck just close enough that the fire from the gun would be erratic...and the driver would be hard pressed to react in time.

Darth did not even seem to care about the fire. Instead he pushed down even further on the gas. The old cargo truck groaned in protest but went ignored. He was starting to get annoyed with Tsikes' steady gunfire though. She had to reload eventually.
Little did Darth know that she did not believe in bullets either. Even though she was pulling a new clip out of her pocket. (Where else would a good shooter keep a clip?) Once the current one emptied and fell away, after being shocked, she would load a new one.
Zero growled low as his bullet missed. His hand went and snapped back the piston as he worked to load another bullet. Gabe was safe from him for the moment. Instead he just watched as the truck went across the flames after Gabe.

As the truck burst through the flames, Gabe came to a complete halt.
"Good boy..."
Gabe smiled to himself. This was just like the movies, except a lot more fun. He waited a few seconds. The gunfire had stopped, just in time for Gabe to catch his breath. Moments later, he fired up the engine again, taking off and veering straight to the right. With any luck...the driver would be completely focused on following him, and not notice his surroundings.
The control tower loomed ahead, not more than fifty feet away.

This was so like Grand Theft Auto! Darth could not wait to run this punkass down and squish him under the tires. Now as anyone who has ever followed something intently can tell you, it takes alot of focus. And generally you miss the things around you. He so did not notice the oncoming tower. His foot continued to jam down the gas for more power and speed. A dead race for the finish.
Tsikes arm had pulled back in as she worked to reload. First to snap out the clip, then throw it out the window, then flip her long black dreads back like Lara Croft would, then finally insert the clip and snap it into place.
Zeromus, despite his comrades, was a somewhat intelligent man. Now counting that he was looking down...he knew what was happening. And this did not please him. As could be seen by how he abondened his gun and made a mad scramble for the edge to begin a risky climb down. At this rate, he so would not make it.

And that was when Gabriel noticed the fatal flaw in his plan. How the hell was he going to get out of this alive? Well, luck, mostly. With that in mind, Gabriel turned to look over his shoulder, jammed on the brakes to his motorcycle, slowing his speed drastically enough that the tires locked and the bike threatened to slide out from underneath its rider.
Gabe's legs tightened, and he sprung about as far away as he could from the bike, which slid without a passenger and tumbled into one of the support beams of the control tower.
Gabriel, on the other hand, landed on the asphalt and rolled a good twenty feet in a rather painful manner.
He was in better shape than the two in the truck heading towards the tower, however.
