because my boyfriend kept handing me little girl clothes in the changing room by accident. lol. He was convinced they weren't kids' clothes, though. I figured he just wanted me to get something a little girl would wear and was embarrassed to tell me, so I just asked him to get me a large kids skirt.
I realized when I got home, the style, fabric, and pattern could easily be mistaken for a lolita dress made for older people. I lol'd. Thank god for fat children. XD
Do you think it's acceptable to wear actual children's clothing for lolita stuff? Or do you think that's just weird? lol

I always wanna buy those childrens easter dresses I see at the store they are very lolita in my oppinion. 3nodding My other lolita friends and I are always vowing to one day buy one.

I do that!
I have a number of skirts (not lolita, but swishy summery skirts)
that were in the girls' clothing area... but in extra large.
And they had a display set up of Hello Kitty tees,
and I bought a few of the nicer ones in pastel colors.
Those would be good for casual lolita.
And the youngsters always get the best hair accessories and headbands.

Whether or not a child's dress can be worn as lolita really depends on the piece. Easter dresses certainly, Osh Kosh jumpers, not so much.

I always get children's clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys even sometimes. I love plushies ^_^ Not all lolitas are lucky enough to be able to fit into kids cloths. I'm just tiny.
