So there I was, in the bathroom, listening to techno. I multitask. The song I was listening to was Xerox and Illumination's Paranoia- At the line "I met a man who wasn't there", I suddenly saw in the towel in front of me, the outline of a flower in the fiber pattern. It had a hand0like shape with an extended finger touching the middle part (stigma, I suppose). Then I moved my gaze back, and it faded into the fiber pattern, while a thought occurred to me. All is one. Suddenly, the towel became abstract, and became one object without folds, and then it melded into the wall visually, which also had a coarse pattern, and that melded into the other part of the wall which was similar colored tile- It was very clear, then, that matter is all one thing.
It's all the same subtle stuff. I had already intellectualized this, but this made it real to me. It was simply stuff. There was no towel, towel rack, wall and tile- It was just Stuff. It was all one. Then, I logically deduced that the door next to me and my body were matter, and were one- The entire area was connected more by the fact that it was matter than what matter it was specifically, and my mind was what could give it distinction or reduce it to it's original one-ness.
No, I'm not high.

This is gnosis.
It's one thing to understand something intellectually and another to experience it. This is Mystery.

I love these kinds of experiences! I had something similar, but I made the green tiles of my school turn briefly purple. It was caused by a thinking of how my existence is logically impossible due to an infinite number of fractions of an inch (or any other unit of distance) seperating my atoms. Somehow my will is able to hold these atoms together into a living being even across space, so what else can my will do to the other atoms around me? For the most part, my body is no different from my environment because it is matter, just like my environment.
So I decided I wanted to see the tiles turn purple. Then I got a headache, and the teacher finally came by to unlock his door, so I stopped and went to class. lol. I can read your experience all I want, but I know I won't get it until I experience the same thing... It's funny.

I didn't have a religious experience but I did have a mind trip. I think it was the first time I got high...I was at my friend's house years back and I was extremely wasted. ( Still remember the awful smoke taste. ) I saw the raccoon come from the picture on the wall of his room and it spoke to me, speaking in a language only known in a world not known under paradox color rule. But I understood what he was trying to say, and he told me: " You WILL be hungry for tacos soon. " Sure enough, I woke up and went to Taco Bell. Best vision ever. and yes, I know it wasn't exactly a revelation but I can't really give you a religious one.

It wasn't only my first time nor did I take about six inhales from a bong, but it was also extremely potent stuff. About eight months old stuff. That and the effects of being tied probably helped.

Once, while I was sitting in my room thinking, I got to the edge of everything, where I was so close to understanding the universe and life and the connections between things. So I stepped back and told myself that if I took that step over the edge, everything would change and I wouldn't ever see the world the way I used to and I would be a different person. I looked over the edge of everything and into the abyss.
And I didn't step over. I ran like a little girl.

Even if you got REALLY high, you wouldn't hallucinate. So your story is full of wholes. I bet you've never smoked before, not that it's a bad thing. But seriously, it's not possible because of three facts- It WAS the first time, and it's nearly impossible to get high from that. Weed will NOT make you hallucinate, and six hits is about average anyway.

It would be the person going there anyway, but less inhibited due to the effects of the smokables. Unless it was laced with acid. Then we'd see hallucination anyway.

You see, I never knew what weed actually did to you and I expected things like...feeling loopy and calm I guess with a touch of some kind of mental effect? Problem is, I can't exactly remember how it happened. It could have been a dream that blended with reality or my over-exaggerating mind on what weed was. * On a side note, I never knew my eyes would go so red either. XD It was strange. * I was wondering why I wasn't feeling much. I guess I got the effect but was slightly disappointed.

I've had a few revelations, though it mostly seems to happen at worship in church or when I'm thinking about something intensely. For the former it's mostly related to seeing Him, and for the latter it's like I suddenly understand something that I may have known before. It's like it gains another dimension.
I've also had this thing happening a lot where I'll start seeing bright flashes of light, or during last fall the grass would move in waves, but I'm don't think that's related to anything spiritual.

Yes, what you described can often be caused by not blinking for a long time. Something happens with your eyes and objects seem to meld together.
I have a recurring thing where I look at my bathroom doors mirror and I see faint movement in the door. I can stand close to it, and it never moves but from a distance if I stare at the mirror I sort of see the door move slightly. Could that be my heart beat inside my eyes or something? It freaked me out at one point.
