It's time to invite our wonderful charities to join the fun. If you are willing and able to help with this, here is the procedure:

THE Charity Spring Circus is HERE!
If you would like to buy a ticket to THE Charity Spring Circus, please read this thread to see how to do that. The price just went up to 700g each ticket.
Our activities, games, contests and puzzles are all set up, so visit our guild and event thread to join the fun!A note to my elves: if you included the cost of a ticket in your activity introduction, please update that information to 700g at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

I think a lot of new folks have seen the banner to our event as a result of another event, The Pink Slipper Club Easter Event, being spotlighted. I'm helping with that event, and I suspect a lot of folks just saw this one in my sig there.
I've had several ticket requests today that are still being processed. So I'm planning to accept tickets for one more day to THE Charity Spring Circus.
Any elf willing to extend her contest that extra day is welcome to do so. Any elf who would rather keep with the original event ending today is also fine to do that. Thank you for your patience!

Calling All Elves: THE Next Event will be in August!
It's time to start planning our next event. It will be held August 21st to 31st and the theme will be THE Charity Luau!
At this time I'd like all elves who are willing to run a game or contest to please let me know either by posting in THE Charity Event guild and/or sending me a PM. I'll be setting up THE thread in the next few days for those who would like to snag a post there. Graphics are needed for the event to include the dates (August 21-31) and the general idea of fun, games, contests, and prizes, while supporting our Gaian charities.
Charity Owners: If you are planning to run an event during that same time frame, I'd be thrilled to affiliate it with ours! We are already affiliated with the Pink Bunny Slippers Club and Phoenix Charity Auction. The more, the merrier!

The Newbie Supporting and Training Guild, the Gaia Wedding Chapel Inc., and THE Charity Event Guild are hosting the Snow Ball, and you're invited!
Who: You! All NSTG and GWCI members and all ticket holders of THE Charity Christmas Carnival.
What: A fun holiday party with all of your friends from these three guild communities!
When: Thursday, December 23rd, 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM, U.S. Central Time
Where: From 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM, anywhere within the 001701 zip code in Gaia Towns. From 10:35 PM to 11:30 PM, in the North Pole to give away prizes!
Dress code: Formal. Ladies are expected to be in gowns, guys are expected to be in suits or tuxedos.
Etiquette: Follow the Terms of Service. Refrain from using foul language when talking with other attendees. Do not be upset or make a scene if you do not win the prize you wanted or if you did not win one at all, as there will be plenty of opportunities in all three guilds this Christmas season to win some cool stuff!
Other details: At 10:30 PM, event staff will start going through each Barton in the 001701 zip code and reminding all of you to meet us in 21 Barton 001701, where we will hand out prizes to special attendees! Upon arriving at the house (the North Pole), please take a seat quietly and give the event staff your undivided attention so that we can get started right away.

This is a great event, hosted by Shanra the Dragon Bard each year, and I encourage everyone who does not have a pair of Pink Bunny Slippers, to head on over to it, and see if there are any contests or games you might like to participate in. I am a member of this Charity guild, and highly recommend it.
This is the only guild Easter event I plan to participate in, but I will be doing an event in June! See you then! Thanks, your Captain.

It's time to set up for the next event, July 1st - 4th, called THE Charity Midsummer Splash! Jobs to be filled: Avatar contest (Tektek) Bumping Contests Coloring Contest (also need lineart, preferably in .png or .bmp format) Feather Fight game (I can help with design) AND I was hoping we could have a Pool Party on Saturday night, July 2nd, for which I'd need: Photographer(s) for avatar themed group pictures Riddle Master(s) Water fight instigators The thread is linked to the banner above, but it's still in the set-up stages, so please don't post there without checking with me first. Come Join THE Fun! Our event HAS BEGUN!

If your charity has NOT joined THE event, I will accept new charities for the next 24 hours. I will be updating the list of participating charities on Saturday morning, July 2nd so all charities that want to participate must contact me before then.
We still need volunteers to help with the Pool Party on Saturday, July 2nd, starting at 9pm EST (6pm PST)! PM me or post in the Pool Party thread in the guild.
Looking forward to a fantastic event!
