Detailed Biography:Born and raised in the Water Country, Ayumi was taught from a young age to become a shinobi. As she grew, she learned, and the ocean that surrounded the islands of the Water Country gradually grew smaller in her eyes. The fact that she knew there were other Countries and ninja villages out there, made her eager to learn more, and become a better shinobi, so that she could see these places with her own eyes. Thus, she kept pushing herself and grew with time.
Both of her parents had the elemental chakra of Water, and with Karin it was just the same way. Being surrounded by water, it was easy for to gain control over water manipulation, and soon she was flicking her hands into signs and learning jutsu.
At the age of 10 she graduated the academy, with only a select few. The group was quickly assigned to be taught by the Mizukage, Shigure Rei, the perfect person to teach the three young genin. Her other teammates, were Rikujou Hibari and Tsukioma Zaine, close friends of hers since a young age, and were the few she actually spoke to. Eventually, she climbed the shinobi ranks and became a Jounin, along with her team mates, Zaine and Hibari.
On a mission to escort the daimyo, Zaine, Karin, and Hibari, were upon the ship to another island nearby the Water Country. Upon 3/4 of the way there, enemy ninjas attacked. Due to the mist, no one was able to tell what country they were of. In the midst of attack, Hibari was killed by an unknown poison that acted in seconds. The death of a close friend caused Karin to start gaining an interest in the medical field. To protect the only two friends she had, the Mizukage, Rei Shigure, and Zaine Tsukioma.
Though Karin's reason to learn healing helped her get much much stronger, the promise would be broken, only two years after the death of Hibari. Her teacher, the previous Mizukage, had went to a World Peace Meeting, and died of unknown causes. Because of this, Karin blames herself for not being able to keep her promise. At the same time, it's motivating her more, to grow and protect. This time, not only Zaine, but her whole village.
Though Karin believes that she is not suited for the position, she has taken it up due to her teachers wishes. Hoping that with Zaine, her close friend, at her side she can be a good Mizukage to the village and bring Peace between the shinobi world like her sensei.
