Beginning in the forests of water country, specific routes lead to an opening in dense shrubbery, revealing a lush rainforest only known to Kiri shinobi. Because of the dense forestry, this is the one area in water country which remains unaffected by the mist. It's ecosystem is incredibly, yet dangerous, death may lay only a few feet away. It is from this rainforest all sources of water spring from and go throughout water country and the mist village. It is rumored somewhere within this forest lies an underground ocean, home to the Shark Summons.

In order to get to the shark summoning land, you most spend fifteen posts getting through the treacherous rainforest to find them. You must also contact the head shark summoner (Luo Ushio) so that he can direct you to where they live. He will also give you a riddle which simply states: "Reverse Flow," something you won't figure out until later. With every fifth post, roll a 10 sided die. Anything 5 and below means you have encountered a rainforest animal and must defeat is (3 posts), and 6 and above means you move on. If you are allowed to pass on the fifteenth post, roll another 10 sided die. Anything from 7-10 means you figured out the reverse flow of the river which feeds the underground ocean of the Shark summons behind a waterfall, and anything less than that means you did not. You'll have to keep rolling and stay in this area trying to figure out the riddle of the water in RP until you get a 7-10 roll. You may then entered the chasm behind the waterfall which drops to an endless underground ocean.

As they reached the last mile of the cave, Luo sprinted at his full pace for old time sake which unfortunately for Masaki, was the fastest pace in Kirigakure. He ran normally at a rank of SS, and was known to have been the first person under twenty to have competed and won in the Kiri Island Marathon. In fact, the man still held the fastest completion time of three days, thirteen hours, sixteen minutes, and twenty-eight seconds. Ever since, for fun he was known to complete the circuit in his free time.

Arriving at the end of the cave in just under four minutes, He took in the beautiful view of Kiri rainforest. The dense forest kept out the mist so it was clear as day as you could hear multitudes of rushing water. The sun was shining and the exotic wildlife was alive. He breathed it in for a moment, closing his eyes and remembering the year he spent training here. The route Luo took cut back and around three mountains, eliminating three fourths of the trip. Where they came out was roughly fifteen miles into the rainforest, and almost no one knew about this method of entry. As the fire on his fingers faded, he waited for the boy to catch up. Knowing it would take a while, he watched the scenery in awe. This was Luo's personal training grounds.

Masaki followed Luo at his full speed as well. At least the top speed he could manage considering he was carrying half the planet's weight in sharp tools, had been for several miles, and was getting light headed from the cut on his forehead. The cut had finally clotted, so at least he didn't constantly need to brush blood out of his eyes (a difficult task with such a bag in his hands.) His smile had long ago faded, and while his resolve was much stronger it was becoming dampened as well. Even when he was a homeless child he had never experienced anything close to this abuse. They hadn't even started training yet. As Masaki finally started to catch up to Luo, his pace had begun to slow. His legs almost weighed as much as the bags he carried in each arm put together. His arms were completely numb, it was a miracle he still managed to hold a grip on each strap. He could swear that even his throat was bleeding, since he had been pushing himself far harder than his body could handle. He stood behind Luo.

Jumping onto one of the various canopy branches, Luo looked out for a moment to see just which part of the forest he was going to take him. Remembering an area he was in once, he leaped off of the branch onto the next one, continuing to jump from branch to branch. As he reached a few yards away from Masaki, he motioned for him to follow. Turning to continue Luo wondered just how well the boy would fare jumping from branch to branch. This was yet another integral part of training; observation and multitasking. If the boy chose to leap onto a branch that was too weak, it would break and he would fall along with the bags he held. And at the same time, he would have to watch Luo to see just where to go and even keep up with him.

As Luo continued his slowed pace (although for anyone watching it was anything but that) towards his destination, he enjoyed the sunlight and sound of rushing water from afar. This was where the land of water had its sources, and it was a beautiful secret that mist shinobi kept. After about three hours, Luo stopped on a branch and looked down. There was a river that cut through a clearing just about the size of the academy, an apple tree with a few lingering apples left, and the echo of wildlife all around. Jumping downwards Luo performed a few flips and turns before landing with his right palm on the ground just in front of him, and his left leg outstretched. As a startled group of birds flew away, he stood and dusted his hands off.

Sighing a bit as he realized he'd forgotten a sleeping mat, he shrugged to himself knowing he could make due without it. Waiting for Masaki to find himself down there, he needed to get the boy started on collecting firewood and leaves. It wasn't going to be an easy week for the boy, but he'd come out the better if he played his cards right. If he didn't, Luo would have to carry him to Kiri Hospital. And as he thought about it, he figured even if he managed the training, he'd probably need to stop by Kiri Hospital anyway. Not an easy week indeed.

Masaki tried to follow Luo as he jumped tree to tree, but most of the branches Luo used were too weak to stand up against Masaki, the weight of the bags he was carrying and the momentum he needed to keep up with his sensei. At this point his arms were numb, and he couldn't let go and catch himself with them if he wanted to. His legs were beginning to lose feeling as well. After several branches all but snapped under his weight Masaki started launching off of the tree itself rather than it's branches. He needed to move a lot faster to keep enough momentum, but he couldn't keep up with the Mizukage at a slower speed anyways.
After about three hours Lup simply stopped on a tree branch in front of Masaki. Masaki, overwhelmed by his inertia, found himself flying straight at his sensei. Fortunately Luo jumped down just in time to dodge Masaki. Unfortunately Masaki found himself flying straight towards a dead tree. A dead tree that would never survive such a collision. While Luo gently made his way to the ground, Masaki followed the top half of the tree to a pile of dead wood several feet from Luo. Masaki popped his head from the branches thanking his luck that he hadn't landed in the water. With a weak smile Masaki declared "I've got some firewood for ya"

As Luo heard the crackling of tree limbs as they fell, Luo sighed as he stared at his reflection in the water. The boy was severely lucky that the bags he held touched the ground as they arrived at their location. He was also in luck that he had collected enough fire wood for the trip. Turning around, Luo walked towards him and knelt next to one of the bags and opened it. Pulling out one of the dehydrated meals, Luo tossed it to Masaki muttering, "Place it in the river for four minutes and remove the plastic cover after." Producing an energy bar from one of his belt pouches, Luo chose instead to eat that.

Sitting cross legged on the ground, Luo waited for Masaki to heat up his food so he could truly begin. Luo was someone who was big on manners, and judging by the pain and loss of feeling in the boy's limbs, manners would not be an option. Eating with chopsticks was just too refined of a movement for anyone who's body has been under the stress Luo put Masaki's under. His fingers would falter, his arms would shake and burn, and it would be a struggle to eat. "When your food is heated you will sit in front of me and eat with me. I don't enjoy messy eaters or people without manners so if I find any of those two to be true about your eating habits, you can expect that your meal will find itself in front of me."

Masaki untangled himself from the branches and listened to Luo's instructions. Even Masaki, who knew only too well how awful rehydrated food could taste, could barely contain himself when offered the option of food. Luo wanted manners... That probably meant he had to use chopsticks... He placed the container in the water and waited for it to rehydrate as he stared at the pair of sticks with a curious look. He had never learned to use chopsticks, always using his hands instead. When he finally pulled his food out he sat in front of Luo and struggled to pick up food with the chopsticks. His fingers were too weak, but if he ate with his hands Lup would take all of his food. He shakily managed a couple bites before accidentally dropping the chopsticks in his food. He had to fish them out before continuing.

Watching Masaki fumble with the sticks he noticed the boy didn't look like he even knew how to hold them. However, he dropped the sticks and that was all she wrote. Faster than the boy could react to, the bowl and chopsticks were in Luo's hands. He held the chopsticks out with his right hand for a moment, motioning how they were held and how to properly use them. And then as promised, Luo ate. Slowly, delicately, and methodically the man ate with his eyes closed, savoring the taste even though it was mediocre.

Finishing, Luo grabbed the napkin on the side of the bowl and wiped his mouth, placing the chopsticks side by side on top of the bowl. Placing it aside, it began to crumple slowly since the material was biodegradable. Standing up and rummaging through the bag he found what Masaki would need. Forming a seal, three water clones of Luo appeared and he nodded muttering, "Set up the traps." As they disappeared with both metal bags and left the other materials bought, Luo tossed a breathing mask and wrist and leg weights to Masaki. "Put those on and meet me underwater." It sounded like a silly request, but Luo flipped up and backwards into the river, his form leaving a gentle 'plop' sound of water without much resistance. And that was the part of his training today: Resistance training.

Masaki, tired as he was, tried to put more food in his mouth before he realized it had already vanished. He looked up sourly at Luo as he ate the day's food. Even if he was the type to complain, he didn't quite have the energy to. At least he had gotten a couple bites, as well as some rest, before Luo went on with the training. He grabbed the items as they were given him, and put them on. His sour look faded a little when he realized he had regained some feeling and mobility. He managed to put the gear on with minimal fumbling, and walked after Luo into the water. He didn't bother diving in, he just let himself fall into the water and sink into the water. He then started looking around for his sensei through the water. He wasn't ready to quit yet, the rest had allowed his resolve a bit of time to regenerate. While he wasn't exactly giddy, he had a chance to reflect on how strong he'd be when all this was over.

As Masaki entered the water and seemed to look around, Luo's lithe figure appeared off to his right, a closed fist rocketing at what would be considered the speed of a taijutsu specialist genin towards Masaki's right cheek. Normally, the speed Luo was moving wouldn't be all too impressive, but to move like that underwater was abnormal and impressive to say the least. Not only that, but the power in his punch was not lost due to the dramatic speed change. Luo's punch was thrown in a sort of spinning motion, essentially priming and coiling his muscles for a rapid release of potential energy. into kinetic at the snap of the outstretched arm.

However, with the dramatic force of water moving towards him, Masaki was capable of predicting such a movement. In essence, his mind would already know it was coming, however his weighted hands and legs would have a delayed reaction time. Luo predicted the boy would basically have to study the way Luo's muscles moved, how his weight was shifted, essentially everything about Luo's body in order to prematurely recognize what he was going to do, and have the strength to counter with his weighted limbs. When Luo trained, he trained both body and mind in tandem. It was a scary exercise given the panic set off the moment you see a punch coming without being capable of reacting fast enough, but that was one thing a shinobi had to lose; fear.

Masaki started moving from the fist before he even realized it was coming. He was however, weighed down and fatigued, so his movements were dramatically reduced. All he managed to do was "jump" backwards, taking some of the momentum out of the hit. With both hands he grabbed at the figure who had jumped him, hoping to grab something to keep the man from pulling another sneak attack.

As Masaki went to grab, Luo stepped off to the side and took his hand, using the boy's own force to flip him. However, Luo flipped him completely, not allowing him to fall. Motioning to halt for a moment, Luo stepped next to him and motioned slowly how he punched, and then took his hands and guided Masaki's arm, twisting it with the forward motion in order to cause the muscles to coil and 'snap' to release maximum energy. He then motioned with both hands as if he were waving his hands like water, followed by a pulling motion, and the same action he did before to flip Masaki, however in mid-air.

What Luo demonstrated, was that resistance and force were one in the same. Both could be used in order to disarm and inflict harm upon an opponent. No matter how large or fast something was, it's own force could be used as its downfall if caught using it recklessly. That was why it was most important to store potential energy until the very last moment of impact. If too much force was exerted, it could be used against you. However, if potential energy was simply halted before being transformed into kinetic energy, not only is there no force or resistance on your part, but you've saved yourself a bit of energy. It was the most efficient way of fighting, and Luo continued to hold Masaki's arm and make the motion, then he left it and made the punching motion next to him, motioning for him to mimic his movement.

Masaki was startled when the figure started controlling his motions, but quickly realized it was Luo. He only half-realized before, simply because he was reacting to a punch. After the split second it took him to make sense of things he started paying close attention to his motions. Luo was obviously teaching him something, since he couldn't just say "hey do this" Masaki began to wonder if Luo was one of those who believed fighting was a language. He never felt that way before, it seemed like a nonsensical thing, but they seemed to be communicating well enough.
Eventually Luo stopped using Masaki as a puppet and "standing" next to him performed the punch. Masaki mimicked the man, using his memory to get the punch as correct as possible. Punches always seemd straightforward to Masaki, he never would have guessed there was a "proper" way to do it. Seeing Luo's movements however Masaki grabbed a faint understanding of how much more his punch could accomplish than Masaki's old way. Even the water didn't fight his movements as much anymore as if to say "finally you got it you moron." Masaki of course knew that was overstating things, but it is always an overstatement to say you "mastered" something. He still had a long way to go before he could even earn the illusion of skill. The water also helped relieve Masaki's sore muscles as he moved, a small favor for his hard work.

As the boy seemed to grasp it, Luo then demonstrated the different types of kicks. First, the front kick. Not hard on the surface, but as the water allowed for Luo to demonstrate slowly, he motioned with both hands on each side of his thigh how when he lifted his leg, his pelvis shifted slightly. Not so much that it compromised the integrity of the kick, but just enough to cause his muscles to coil and release the energy when necessary. He practiced the motion a few more times until he nodded and motioned for Masaki to try the same. The leg muscles were harder to coil and prime, being longer and less compacted, so the learning curve was larger. It should take just about an hour for Masaki to grasp. But once that happened, the rest would be simple to follow.

Next he demonstrated the side kick, used to strike the side of one's hip, ribcage, shoulder-blade, neck, and head. As his pelvis twisted to allow his leg to lift and strike, you could see the muscles in his entire leg tense before the 'snap of his foot, bubbles rising furiously around the entire leg, and his foot emitting a pulse underwater that sent fish flailing. It was a powerful strike when used correctly, and as Luo motioned on himself, it was capable of breaking whichever vital area it hit. Performing the kick in tiers from the lowest strike to the highest, he motioned that Masaki should do the same in order to master the strike at whatever angle.

Next was the axe kick. In the motion upwards, it could disarm an opponent. And once it came down, it could crack skulls and even kill. It was known to many that if a ninja's hands weren't strong enough and they attempted to block the attack, it could fracture their wrists in one fell swoop, some would say a small price for your life. He showed how perfectly straight the leg went upwards, and then was sent rocketing down. The momentum was built in the thigh muscles mid-lift, causing the most energy to be released at full height, and then brought back down on the leg's decent.

Their were more kicks such as the sweeping kick, however the ones not shown to the boy were common and already taught to the best of their use in the academy. These three kicks however could indeed be optimized though, and optimize them he did. Of course the weights served to make everything harder for the boy, but once removed the power trade off as well as speed would be incredible. Luo predicted if the boy was able to withstand the first day of training without passing out, he'd surpass his expectations. And there were oh so many surprises to come.
