Named in honor of the great Naruto Uzumaki, this bridge was built to stop trade monopolies taking place in the Land of Waves, and connect them to the Land of Fire.

Yuudai started his long run on this bridge thinking about how endless it felt. Yuudai couldnt help but think about his village, and how he hopes to get back before anything devistating happens do the village.

Fordon and Mai sped under and passed the bridge. they did not want to stay long and both were eager to get home and be done with the mission. That however didnt stop Fordon from joking and flirting with Mai on the way.

 (Enter from Mist Docks) Yamatano stood on the base of the bridge that separated water cuntry from fire country, home of the famous Konohagakure, the land his clan was from. He could imagine his clansmen eighty years ago, crossing this very bridge to escape the Konoha council and seek a new life in Kirigakure. "They made the right choice." Yamatano thought as he finished at the bridge, confirming no enemies. Turning on his heel, Yamatano ran firther into the countryside. (Exit to Demascus House)

As the ship crossed under the great bridge Fordon looked up at the crossing between the two great lands. from here on he was no longer in his own territory and he would have to be on the look out especially since there still may be more traitors in the leaf. Still Fordon was looking forward to this mission. If everything went well then the mist would keep their ally and the relationship might even grow. also on the way Fordon would get to train. as he thought of the training Fordon began to practice the style. every movement he used was lethal and practical. in his eyes Fordon showed his intent to kill. If he ever used this level of style he would have only one thing on his mind. Killing his opponent. As the bridge began to fade into the distance Fordon kept all of is senses sharp.

 ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ Zdura, as Yasashii's clone had decided to call itself, had to pause in his run and admire the bridge when he finally reached it. Truly a miracle of craftsmanship, the thing had to be at least a mile or two long, as he couldn't even see the other side. If he was an artist of seals, Tazuna had truly been an artist of concrete and steel. Walking across the bridge rather than running at his previous pace, he admired the structure of it. Perfectly placed columns to keep the body itself up, and strong enough to hold the entire structure against the ocean waves. It was a bridge built to last forever. Of course, old habits die hard, and his admiration became inspection as his eyes scanned the structure for weak points. A mistakenly placed support that could topple a section of the bridge if removed here, a weak patch of concrete there. Crossing the bridge at a walking pace took a good hour or two, and by the end of it, he knew just where to place explosives if he ever wanted to destroy the thing. It felt almost wrong to think in such a way, but he was always a man to consider all angles, and demolition was a personal specialty. As he reached the end of the bridge at last, Zdura smiled, walking through the small town at the end of it. Soon, soon he would reach his destination. [Exit to Kiri Gates] ~ [Chakra: 212]

Suiton| Fuuton| Hyouton l Jounin l  As the forest thinned out and the bridge came into view, Aoi smiled a bit. She enjoyed taking her time on this bridge and admiring the architecture. She also loved to cross the border from wave country into fire country, the mist literally separating the two. "When we get into fire country, we'll camp for the night. Masaki, you will be in charge of gathering wood, and Manny you will be in charge of catching dinner, got it?" Without waiting for an answer, with her hands behind her back, she turned on her heels and began the trek down the bridge, looking out both sides with wide eyes.

Glad to have been stopped Manny listened to the women's words, and was happy with them. When him and his Father started saving money after his Mothers death he had been to one to most of the food catching. So it was something he would be pretty good at doing. Though his Dad did the cooking, Manny did know how to prepare his food, just not as well. To his dismay the rest was not long, and he was right back to moving, at least now they were not moving so fast and he could enjoy the view. He did still keep a eye out for anything odd, a lazy eye, but a eye none the less.

Masaki's shoulders were aching a little from all the rocks he had gathered, but he was severely annoyed when they slowed down again to cross the bridge. He'd never been outside of water country, so he finally calmed down enough to enjoy the change in scenery. It was bizarre how much clearer everything had gotten without the mist there as a filter. He almost forgot that mist wasn't supposed to be everywhere all the time. "everything's so clear..." he said loudly as he wondered how the bridge had earned it's name.

Tell you what, I'll treat whoever to a treat if they can recite some Shinobi history and tell me why this bridge was named after Naruto Uzumaki of the Uzumaki clan of wave country?" It was a story told time and time again in the academy, how one of the seven swordsmen of the mist was killed on that bridge, and how the boy allowed for trade to flourish between the two countries by aiding in the opening of the bridge itself. It was also the first recorded instance of one with the hyouton bloodline, something Aoi of course took great interest in.

"Hatake Kakashi" Manny said aloud "Not born to the Uchiha Clan, but held the Sharigan of a friend. Killed Zabuza Momochi during a mission were they crossed paths. I do not remember much about the Naruto in his squad, my studies followed Uchiha mostly, though he did come up a few times. From what I read he was really strong willed and fought like hell to get what he set out to do done." Being silent for a moment, and waiting for a response Manny added "My Mom had me study history of the Uchiha clan, mostly the greatest of the greats. Not much else though, my family has a problem with being one track minded... Well, the whole clan does really. Manny's tone was still somewhat tired sounding, but his face did seem more awake than before, the running woke him up a lot, and made him feel like he had a abundance of energy.

Masaki shrugged. "Iunno, the builders like ramen?" He then listened to the boy's recital. Great, he was teamed with a textbook. Masaki's own presence in the Academy was infrequent, he was homeless at the time so he had to spend more time stealing food than listening to lecture. It was only because of the teacher's understanding, not to mention Masaki's performances in the "functional application" of material that he passed at all.

Usually Yamatano went straight to the gates via the boats, but this time, he had decided to take the walking route. The caverns were about as far via either trip, and he so rarely got take this route, he thought it would be a good idea to scout it out.
Yamatano had run most of the way to the village, but along the bridge, he walked at a leisurely pace. The boy walked along the opposite side of the three approaching him- one, a small, yellow haired boy, an experienced looking, frost haired woman, and one he recognized- Masaki, the mokuton boy with hair as snow-white as his. Yamatano nodded in recognition, and continued on. They looked to be in a rush, and he had not time for pleasantries either. His scarf billowed in the wind as he continued on his way, still unable to decipher what mission the mizukage had called him in for.
