Dear Guardians of Myhrr,
I hope this post reaches you before it is too late to save us all. My name is Candy and I work as a waitress in the bar in Barton and my co-workers and I really need your help before it is too late. Last night our mechanical bull, bottles of alcohol and even decks of cards came to life and started attacking us. Thank goodness it was closing time so the doors were locked, so we hope the animated cant get out and wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of our quaint little town.
Even the developers for Zomg are trapped in here with us, so they cant get to a computer to save us, but they suggested we contact you and your band of warriors to help. They say you are the best and I trust their judgement.
We have barricaded ourselves in the managers office where there is only a tiny window. We finally managed to get little Timmys attention while he played nearby outside, and he agreed to get this to you for a tip. Since we cant reach the cash register, we hope that you will take care of this for us. I am enclosing the key to the front door in the hope that you will come to our rescue. You see, we dont have any rings and the items we have here are powerless against these crazy things.
The mini boss here seems to be Mickey, the mechanical bull, who has taken up residence in the china shop where we store the wine glasses and such. We often hear him crashing around in there and can only imagine the damage he has caused.
In order to get to him, you will need to make your way through the front room where the animated bottles of rum and other alcohol are, then through the billiard room, which is, of course, filled with animated pool tables, balls and cue sticks. The next room will be the card room where private games of poker and other gambling games are located. We know the cards have come alive so we believe the tables, chairs and other things have too.
Finally you will reach Mickey in the back room. He is HUGE, metal and very mean. If you can reach him, defeat him and save us and Barton Town, you will receive gold, tons of orbs and the developers have promised each of you the choice a new ring.
OMG, theyre trying to crash through the door! Come now! Please hurry!

Report: Recently there have been random occurences on Gaia Earth involving certain items becoming animated. A few Angels were dispatched to assist in calming the battle, which resulted in a certain band of heroic Gaians to answer the Call To Arms, tilting the balance in the favor of the living.
However, some of our own items have become animated in the process and are causing a conflict at the pearly gates. Several Archangels have come to fight the animated, and during one fierce battle, I hurried to earth to contact Elffromspace, the leader of the Gaian clan called Guardians of Myhrr. She has agreed to send a Legion here to help and I will assist them with quests to help us overcome the damaged items.
Quests: Kill 20 Cloud Fluffs, then return for a reward. Beware, if you are standing too close when they are destroyed, they will burst open and fill you with a love so profound, you cannot raise a hand to strike them, then others will attack you until you are dazed.
Next, find the Golden Scroll somewhere near the east side of the Gates and de-animate it by taking it to the Gates, then returning it to St Peters podium for a reward.
Note: Beware the lighted candles that shoot hot wax at you, the wax hardens, freezing you to that spot while other candle flames lick at you until you are dazed.
Finally, fight and destroy the 2 giant lambs that were statues but are now animated. They have closed the Gates to Heaven which will be a disaster for all Gaians and humans alike. Until they are destroyed, no soul may pass through without being thrown into a portal that leads directly to the Hive, creating a never ending torment and endless battles for that soul.
NOTE: Completing these tasks will result in the choice of a new ring.

Oh thank goodness, I was afraid we would stay trapped in here. Me and my friend were playing with our dolls when suddenly they came alive and started biting and hitting us. I got scared and ran in here to the living room, but my friend got trapped in the bedroom. With the dolls. I called the police but they just laughed at me and hung up and my mom has her cell phone turned off. My big sister is supposed to be here with me, but she snuck out with her boyfriend right after mommy left.

Oh, you mean they have to be special rings? No, my mommys rings are not special, theyre just regular rings.
No, I dont want to go outside. I want to stay here until you save my friend. You ARE going to save her, right?
OK, since you put it that way, Ill go outside so I wont get trapped too.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Theres a giant doll in there named Qixter, you better watch out for him. He always scared me cuz he looks so mean, but he was a gift from my grampa so I kept him in the closet. But when the dolls came alive, I guess he did too cuz he came outta the closet and growled at us.

Attention all Gaians: I know I am not the kind of NPC you were expecting, but since you never specified that we had to be Gaian, I am crashing your party to represent my family. I am the Queen of the Animated. My children and I mean you no harm, we are peaceful and loving, unless attacked first. Just look at the faces of my cute little fluffs. How can you want to hurt them? Yet you do. You stomp through our homes and playgrounds with your big old feet, slicing and dicing as though you think you are superior to us! HA!
Those are OUR rings that you keep stealing. That is OUR gold that we work hard for. Those orbs you carve so much are the souls of my murdered children. You are all thieves and murderers and this must stop!
I do not know how or why we came to be here, but we only want to live in peace, the same as you, yet you continue to hunt us down and destroy as many of my children as you can. This must stop as well. At once! This is the only warning you will get. Stop hurting my family, or suffer my wrath!
You want a quest for your silly contest? Then I will give you one. Send a trade to me with all the gold, orbs and the rings you have stolen and leave us alone or you and your friends will find yourselves trapped in the Null Chamber, with no way out.

Hello, my name is Ned Thurman and I own and operate the Thurman Book Store in Durem. This morning, as I began to open for business, I was attacked by the mouse on my computer which jumped at me and wrapped its cord around my neck. At first I was so shocked I did not fully realize what had hapened, but lack of oxygen quickly motivated me to fight for my life. As I ripped and pulled to loosen it, I was attacked from behind by my broom and mop as they began stabbing at me with their hard handles. As I lay on the ground struggling with items that normally lay dormant, the door opened and a tall man came in. His narrow eyes quickly took in the scene, then with a flash of light he destroyed the mouse that was choking me and immediately the broom and mop turned their vile attention on him. Taking a deep breath, I pulled myself up, intending to go to his aid, but was again attacked from behind by my books. My precious books that have been the main source of enjoyment in my life, besides my wife and children, of course.
I began swinging and hitting at the books but they continued flapping around me like hundreds of birds, bent on my demise. The giant stranger came closer to me and began magically spinning around as fast as a hurricane, knocking the books back long enough for us to make a run for it. I began leading him toward the front door, but he stopped me and pointed to the door that led to my office. Admittedly it was closer, but if we went in there, we could become trapped until someone found us. I started to explain that to him, but more books, dust bunnies and everything, it seemed, came to life and started coming toward us. My new friend shoved me toward the office and I went willingly lest we be attacked.
I opened the door and ran in, then turned just in time to hear him say "Ill be right back with help," then he disappeared. I slammed the door, then locked it, and I now believe I have lost my mind. Or is this a dream? No, it is not a dream, I can hear them banging on the door. I crawled into the closet, bringing pen and paper with me to try to describe the last moments of my life. If I am ever found, please tell my wife my last thoughts were of her and the kids.
Wait, I hear voices! Has someone come to rescue me? I hope they are able to fight against the monsters and that they, too, dont disappear like that man. I can hear banging and yelling and realize there are a lot of people out there. What is happening? Standing, I rush to the door and open it to try to get them in here where it is safe, but before I could get that far, the door opened and the monster fighting, hurricane spinning stranger came in, followed by my daughter, who was crying and checking to make sure I was all right. It was over, at least temporarily.
It is late now and as I finish writing this, I smile to myself, realizing how proud I am of my daughter and the company she keeps. They are all brave souls who struggle to save mankind against this threat that I, and so many other Gaians did not even know existed. Today was frightening, but it was also exciting. I am going home now, but before I do, I intend to send this journal to Cindy at the Channel 9 News, so that anyone else who finds themselves in the same situation I was in today will know they are not alone and they are not crazy.
For now, the threat seems to be over, thanks to my brave daughter and her friends. The Guardians of Myhrr. The name sounds as fantastical and mysterious and the things they call the animated.

My guards are helpless in ridding our waters of the animated toy boats, fishing lines, lures and mechanical toy sharks that keep attacking us.
Your mission is to destroy them, your reward is saving your drinking water.
Plus, you will receive an exclusive invitation to a party at my castle. Dinner will be fresh seasoned worms and a delicious seaweed boiled to perfection, served with a 1925 Fresh Water Chablis. Aaah, a great year. Afterward, you can dance the night away with any of my people and revel in the glory and admiration you will surely receive.
Warning-you must have the deep sea breathing machine things you Gaians need to breathe under the water.

Pssst. Civilian. Come closer. Calm down, I am not really a robot, I am a Concerned Citizen in disguise. I see you have rings on your fingers so you must be one of the Gaians who are aiding in the fight against the animated. I have a couple of quests that I need you to do for me. First, go tell Commander Leon of the Barton Regulars that the robots seem more organized than any of the others we have seen. They almost seem to fall in line, as though they are military. Second, go talk to Roderick in the Old Aquaduct. Those bio-chips he has been collecting are possibly the key to re-programming the robots and if we can do that, we can win this war through strategic military actions. The only problem is that the robots have a human leader that has full control of them for now, but if I can create a diversion, perhaps someone can get into his office and replace the bio-chips in his computer, giving us control. Tell Leon that I am safe for now and that I am not sure who the human is who has control of the robots, but he, or she, dresses like Anniedroid, and that could mean the real Anniedroid is a spy, so beware of her. Ask Leon if he thinks we should experiment with the chips on her before trying for the others. Let him know they are all armed and dangerous and will kill any human they see. Go now, I have to get back before I am missed. Good luck citizen, you will need it.

Good morning Gaia, this is Yuki with Channel 9 News, filling in for Cindy Donovinh, reporting live from Barton General Hospital. Im here with Doctor Ronald Key, the chief surgeon who claims he has made a breakthrough in defeating the animated. Doctor, what can you tell us about your invention on stopping the hoarde of unliving things that seem almost invincible to the average citizen?
Cough* No citizen is average, my good woman, we all have the ability to fight (please dont let this mic or the camera equipment come to life.) I, however, choose to fight from a medical standpoint (where there is less danger) and discover methods to destroy them (where there is less danger.) My team and I have run thousands of simulations (so we dont have to fight) and we believe we have discovered the secret of the animated (nasty little boogers). WE have rigorously tested samples from many of the (dead) creatures and believe they originate from a single cell, the same cell that can be found in an ordinary walnut. Yes, thats right, these things are all a little nutty, wouldnt you say?
I have come here today (at great risk to my person) to ask all of our brave soldiers (oh my, did I call them soldiers on the air?) and citizens to aid us in our endeavors. We are not guards so we do not have any rings to offer, but each man, woman and child who completes these quests will receive free medical attention until this is all over (the better to keep you out there fighting, so I can stay safely indoors.)
Quests: Bring me 10 Grucken feathers from Bills Ranch, 10 Spear Heads from the Tiki Dolls in Otami Ruins, 1 blade from the whirly thing that randomly appears in Bass'ken Lake, 3 Garlic Peels and one bio-chip from the Preda-Pups in the Old Aqueduct.
Remember, free medical services can save you thousands of dollars, which could result in values exceeding a new ring.

You must be pretty powerful to have made it this far, so we are here at this gate to test your abilities. Each test will be harder than the last, but the rewards will be greater. Our tests are not easy, but each one will make you stronger. If you succeed in completing all our missions, you will be allowed to choose any zOMG ring from Barton Jewelers.
Are you ready?
Your first task is to head over to the Housing Commission and rescue Josie from Bludeau, the robot who became animated, and escort her safely back to Global Imports. Bludeau is considered dangerous so dont let his innocent face fool you.
Your second task is to go to the Car Shop and talk to Sam. She needs your assistance in cracking a few heads. Heheh, a little car humor there.
Third and lastly I want you to head over to the Jock Strap and help Liam. From what I hear, things are getting a little romantic over there. Heheh, more humor.
Each of them will page me on my PDA to let me know youve finished and theyll all probably give you a little reward fro helping them out too.

My name is Princess Tulip of the Sugarplum Fairy clan of Durem Dam. As a newly appointed NPC, it is my duty to guide you through quests and give you rewards for those you complete.
Your first quest is to brick me 10 petals from the Flower Fluffs.
Second, you need to bring 10 feathers from the Mechanical Birds that gather near the trees.
Third, I need 10 thimbles full of water from the lake, but beware the rock guards that patrol there.
Once we have defeated these monsters, then we can gather our forces and with your help and the items you bring, we can beat the giant tractor that terrorizes all living things.
Your reward for completing all these tasks will be 50,000 gold and 10 orbs each and of course a new flower power ring.

Southwest of Durem is a small, unknown town where wizards, ghouls, goblins and all sorts of fantastical creatures live in harmony with one another. At least it was harmonious until the vampires showed up. We welcomed them at first because they were homeless after being run out of Bills Ranch and they seemed innocent enough. We at Halloweentown are all considered monsters to you Gaians, so we welcomed them as fellow abominations. For the first few months they fit in rather well, then one day my wand disappeared. Samara is the only one who could have taken it, as we had begun seeing each other and she was the only one in my house that night. She must have given it to Vash, their leader. He is the only one powerful enough to do these things, we think.
Suddenly, the gargoyles came alive and began attacking us. Then came the jack-o-lanterns who shoot fire at you, the candy pails which spit exploding candy bombs and the bubble gum fluffs. As you can imagine, they stick you to the ground, then shoot wads of gum at your head until you are dazed.
The council met and decided since this was my fault for letting my wand get stolen, that I should go out and get help.
I implore you, please help us. If they are allowed to take complete control of Halloweentown it wont take long for them to gather enough power and a large enough army to spread into Durem, then who knows where? I am authorized to give you the key to the town and a new ring for each of you.
