If Your are all as great of wolf and werewolf lovers as you claim to be (And im sure you are). You've searched long and hard for a good comic that has at least one long term main werewolf character in it. Unfortunately many of us have been either totally disappointed or merely had our appetite wet. I have found a few manga and comics that have werewolves but most aren't worth mentioning. By not worth mentioning i of course mean the werewolf is either a bad guy and dies in a short time or is seen once or twice for only minute or 10-15 pages if its a manga. MÄR is a good representation for this. But i have found two that have really pleased me. Now for those that know of them i'm preaching to the choir for those that don't i'm saving you the time of searching for good manga with werewolves. Rosario Vampire Is a great manga there is an anime but the were has a far greater roll in the manga. Then one most people don't know of is Alpha luna this is by far my favorite its found at Alphaluna.net. The whole comic is werewolves Very well Drawn. The comic is done by a artist name Leonardo Vidal. So far the storyline is very good lately he has been slow on the updates the last two months...But this has happened before he comes back! At the moment ( while i type this) there are issues loading the site its not loading completely. But i suggest checking with it you may like what you see. Now being only human(or am I? :3) I may over look things. So anyone who spent 2 minutes reading it, if that. Are welcome to correct me Or post other manga, anime, Books, Or even movies about our favorite creature. Just give a brief reason why you like it and how well you feel the werewolf is represented. If you read and don't wanna post i ask you to do the poll it will only waste 2 more secs... unless you have a crapptacular computer then ill get your response in a century or so. *glares at old comp sitting in corner.*

That's actually pretty interesting. Luna seems so adorable! /typical fangirl
I'll have to bookmark that and look at it later! For now, I'm busy trying to clean up everything! D:
I usually don't read regular comics anymore. I know. I'm lame. I tend to lean towards manga just because the style is so drastically different from American comic books--which my father raised me on (X-Men and Superman to name a couple), and, quite frankly, I've grown tired of.

I know! I <3 the Westernized manga style (or whatever people are calling it nowadays!). It's refreshing to see that instead of the typical DC/Marvel dot-matrix style or the KAWAIIIIIIIII manga style.

Welly, well, well, welllllllllllllllll. I tend to like books/novels on Werewolves. Just because I like to take my time with reading things. Comics/Mangas go by too fast for my tastes. :[

But most of the Werewolf books I read are those Sci-Fi/Fantasy paperbacks. And most, if not all, of them read like poorly written fan-fiction.

I like the Night World series, it has a bit of everything, including werewolves. However, I hate the fact that they pose the werewolves as "One track minded", which is a bit offensive. But, you know, it's a book, so no matter.

But, you know, it's a book, so no matter. yeah I have noticed that about novels that feature werewolves. They're always portrayed as angry, one track minded characters. I mean, the closest I've come to a portrayal similar to how I see werewolves is in Amelia-Atwater Rhodes books. It's kind of sad D: I think it's also because vampires are the big thing right now. Back a few years ago (like, 4) there were wolf dens and packs COVERING Barton Town. Nowadays, it's all covens or "all species welcome" and everyone's a vampire. :/ I mean, I like them too, but I love werewolves <3

Yeah... I Agree with you two they are always portrayed Angry and violent. I mean it makes sense maybe once in a while just cause werewolves are very instinctual but I'm not always angry... crying
