Suggestions as to how I can get over it faster or n** it in the bud? I haven't had a real cold in years. This kinda sucks. I forgot how terrible you can feel.
I mentioned it to 3 friends on msn, and all of them suggested food stressed right now the last thing I want to do is eat lol
Steph suggested oil of oregano, apparently it works the same way echinacea does. However, she warned me of 'oregano burps' that would happen through out the day. I don't think that's the route i want to take hahahaha xd

COMPLETELY off topic, but OMG Gaia, are you ******** serious? I was looking at what Amanda wrote without bothering to sign in, and I saw it blanked out the verb 'n**' (n**) Are you kidding me??? Now I know it can be used as a disparaging word for a Japanese person, however that is not its predominate usage!
According dictionary.com there are 16 definitions for n** and the bad word version was at the very end of a very long list... last freaking thing on this long list of the far more likely uses of the word 'n**'!
Sorry I just had to get that out of my system. I'm a huge fan of the English language; the good and the bad. rofl I don't mind being censored when there is a reason (like my actual use of the f-bomb up there) but to imply that I am swearing when I am using an innocent and common phrase just really piqued me. Me thinks the censor-bot is a little too PC. [/rant]
I am totally hopped up on Nyquil right now, lol

Anonymous Karma umm... well here is a old remedy i know.... take warm whiskey lemon honey (for sweetness and to stick to the throat) mix for about what you would drink for a normal glass worth... it might knock you out after the nyquil... what i do since i never have the honey or lemon... i take a swig of shine with a dosage of nyquil... i doubt you have any shine... rofl lol, yeah suggesting me to drink whiskey is a bad idea. If one glass is good for you, well then the whole bottle is better, right? rofl OF COURSE it is!!! Srly though, whiskey is my favourite. I even love the name.... whiskkkkeyyyyy! <3 But yeah, wouldn't go with the nyquil though. And if by 'shine' you mean the moon variety... I come from farmer stock, of course I have some! I also was given some highly illegal homemade palinka when I was in Hungary. That stuff is highly flammable (and lethal), but I sneaked her in in a Croatian water bottle XD My dad would have killed me if he knew that

One of my co-workers today said that drinking a warm glass of red wine helps clear up the sinuses. Don't know if it's true or not but maybe that can help, if you drink and like red wine.

Wasabi can probably help with colds since they are the spiciest food I have ever tasted.
