I hate the kindle reader,I like smelling old books and I like the nostalgia I get when I open my old books filled with cheeto stains and hair.I like being able to read paper without looking at a screen for hours giving me headaches.Real paper is worth some trees getting cut down.

I love old books. They smell so great. I remember I took out a copy of a book from the sixties. The pages were falling apart and everything, but the smell was so strong and nice. <3 Also with that kindle reader, I'm sure you have to buy the books. As much as I love books, I rarely make a blind purchase -- I only do that if my library does not carry the book. And if I don't like the book, I can always donate it to the library. You can't do that with an eBook. Besides, I like how I can read a book and return it to the library. Gives an old unread book some attention, and it's still there when the next person comes along.

i like the smell of well kept books. not that i have much of an olfactory. but i work with books all day, and when they come in after being well used, the cigarette smoke and mildew leave little to be desired.

When I was in highschool, my English teacher did this thing on the senses, and how they are satisfied with reading a book. Everyone agreed on the smell and stuff.
But when teh teacher licked the page for taste, the principal walked in. It was more than a little awkward. 0-o

ugh a over priced copy machine that doesnt let you print. thats all it is. i that that thing. its gonna put book stores out of buisness and you probably have to charge it and pay for every little item. unlike libraries. i love when you take a book everywhere or you buy the book from some random palce not near you and the next time you look at it you remember everything that has happend with that book from the way it smells and the way it kept. ~memories in the pages~

mm, there is somethin enjoyable about a book's smell, but I like the smell of money better. (perhaps that says somethin about me?) I could neva give up my screen. I love fanfiction too much.

i adore the smell of books, of reading them, and the feel of the paper and the weight of it in your hands, but i do also enjoy reading online when i'm home. i agree with Silver Sage-General in that i love fan fiction too much to give up my screen completely. i just like books more.
