Aura
A one eyed Lucario with a tragic past, who bears a personal hatred towards humans. His mother died when he was a young Riolu, leaving his father Shadow to teach him and love him as an only parent, though later on, his father was captured as well, and was forced to fight against his will. The pains inflicted upon him, including the loss of his left eye, have caused him to think of all humans as pitiless monsters. His views changed upon only one, however, as he met a human named Rukario who had stumbled into Eterna Forest, which was where he had made his home. For the first five minutes he merely thought she was just another human he would hate, until he used his aura sight and saw that while her aura wasn't pure, it was kindhearted and peaceful. The feeling was not mutual for Rukario, as she was a Christian (who do not believe the fact that a Pokemon had created the universe) and had run away to the forest because her parents, who were also Christian, had changed their ways and decided to let their daughter go. After a battle with a dangerous Team Rocket member (in which Aura, who had followed Rukario for a day in order to convince her to let him join her, knocked her out of the path of a Blast Burn attack, therefore throwing himself in harm's way and protecting her) Rukario was more than accepting of taking Aura to be her one and only Pokemon. Aura is silent to other humans, and though insults do not bother him if directed to him, he flies into rage if Rukario is abused physically or verbally. As a male Lucario, it puts him in a situation in which he loves his Trainer dearly, not just as a Pokemon or a friend, but like... something else. He is loyal to a fault, and claims he fights stronger than before because he now has something to fight for. He and Rukario are very close, and just as Rukario gave him the name Aura, he affectionately calls her in his own words "My Trainer". He refuses to see the good in other humans, and adamantly believes that Rukario is the only good human. If there is one thing Aura knows, it is that he will never leave the side of his Trainer.
