Height:5'10"
Weight:90 lbs.
Skin Color: Jet Black
Eye Color: Smoldering Ruby Red
Eye Shape: Almond
Hair Color: Lusterless Bone White
Hair Style: Very short, wavy, somewhat messy
Build: Muscular

Weapons:
Hands (treated as being magical, lawful, adamantine)
----Flurry of Blows: Vincent can unleash a series of five blows with his hands or monk weapons that expend accuracy in place of speedy strikes.

Defiler (Quarterstaff): A quarterstaff enchanted to physically paralyze anyone struck twice per day for one hour. Returns to Vincent when called telepathically. Has a weapon crystal embedded in center of staff, visible on two sides.

Items:
Hunter's Shadow: This simple band of rough iron is enchanted to let the wearer leave no trail where he goes. This item was obtained during Lesdar's time with the malarites, after having brought down a giant owlbear.

Possessions (Items not carried around and in his place of residence):
Coffin: A simple stone coffin, that is little more than a box of stone with a slab for the lid. Inside is his grave dirt, which is more of a personal choice than a necessary one.

Feeding Slave: Shaira Silvermoon, a common surface elf that Lesdar purchased from the clan for her blood. She is kept in iron shackles within his living quarters.

Combat Weaknesses: Aside from all the weaknesses of a vampire, Lesdar has a rare curse that affects him when in contact with mithral that incapacitates him for several hours after contact in which he must rest in his coffin.

Racial Abilities:

Darkvision: Lesdar can see up to 120ft. in complete darkness in black and whites.

Immunity: Lesdar is immune to magical sleep effects.

Spell-like abilities: Lesdar can 1/day create faerie fire, darkness, dancing lights

Light Blindness: As a drow, Lesdar is dazzled by abrupt exposure to bright light and is considered blinded when first encountering it, he is dazzled while he remains in the light source. Sunlight applies to his vampiric weakness and he undergoes the normal penalties of a vampire exposed to sunlight or a spell simulating sunlight.

Blood Drain: Lesdar can drink the blood of living victims with his fangs, such an act is painful to the victim and can kill them. Such an attack grants Lesdar a temporary boost to his own health. If he kills a victim in this manner he can choose to have them rise as a vampire spawn or vampire depending on the victims own power. Such victims are under Lesdar's control.

Children of the Night: As a vampire Lesdar can command lesser creatures of the darkness. He can summon 2 to 7 rat swarms, 2 to 5 bat swarms, or a pack of 3 to 18 wolves. These creatures obey Lesdar for up to one hour, or until slain or dismissed.

Energy Drain: Any living victim struck by Lesdar's natural attacks have a part of their soul tainted with vampiric energy if he strikes them enough to completely overwhelm their soul the victim dies and rises 1 to 4 days later after burial as a vampire spawn under his command. ((And in technical speak: Each natural attack deals 2 negative levels, if negative levels = class levels the victim dies and rises 1d4 days later as his spawn))

Dominate: Lesdar can lock eyes with a target and force his will upon their own, in an attempt to crush their will and control them entirely.

Create Spawn: Lesdar can control up to 34 vampires or vampire spawn. Vampires and Vampire spawn under his control are free to create additional vampires and vampire spawn and Lesdar may control a number of lesser vampires in this way.

Alternate Form: Lesdar may, at will, assume the form of a bat, dire bat, wolf, or dire wolf. This is akin to the polymorph spell, though he does not heal when using this ability. He looses his natural slam and dominate attacks, and replaces them with the abilities of the assumed form. The change lasts until next sunrise or until he chooses to end it.

Damage Reduction: Lesdar is able to shrug off wounds from weapons that are not silver and/or magical. ((DR 10/silver and magic))

Fast Healing: Lesdar heals wounds at an rapid rate and can easily restore his body after suffering damage. If reduced to the point of death he automatically assumes gaseous form and returns to his coffin, after one hour of rest he restores the slightest amount of health and resumes his fast healing.

Gaseous Form: Lesdar can assume the form of a billowing cloud of pale gas but his speed is reduced significantly and he can maneuver perfectly while in this form. The change can be held indefinitely and can be used at will.

Resistances: As a vampire Lesdar can resist a minor amount of damage from cold and electric sources.

Class Abilities:

Tongue of the sun and moon: Lesdar can speak to any living creature that can communicate in a verbal format.

Timeless body: Lesdar's mastery of body has stilled his passage through time, as such he no longer ages, though age penalties he has already accrued before maintaining this power still apply.

Quivering Palm: Lesdar can align a physical blow so that he sets up an attack that can be activated at a later time. Up to a week after this attack is made, Lesdar can utilize the latent attack and cause the death of a struck target. This attack only functions against foes with a nervous system.

Sixth Sense: Lesdar has a preternatural sense that allows him to gain awareness of incoming attacks and provides him with the ability to dodge or roll with incoming attacks, preventing or lessening the blow.

Abundant Step: Lesdar can slip between spaces as the Dimension Door spell once per day. He can travel up to 720ft. in any direction, this movement is flawless and can arrive at any point without failure, whether my seeing the place or simply by direction. If the target area is occupied, then Lesdar is shunted to the nearest empty space and takes a minor amount of damage from the abrupt shift.

Improved Evasion: Lesdar's ability to dodge attacks that do not specifically target him is almost supernatural. When he dodges an attack that affects the area he is in he has a chance to roll out of the way and avoid the attack altogether. If he fails to roll all of the way out he only endures half of the damage of the attack.

Slow Fall: This ability allows Lesdar to minimize falling damage when within reach of a wall with a maximum of 80ft. the fall is instead treated as only having been 5ft.

Purity of Body: Lesdar has gained mastery of his bodies immunities and is immune to all mundane diseases.

Wholeness of Body: Lesdar can heal a lot of damage to his own body, he can spread out the daily amount of healing across several usages but the maximum amount he can heal is strictly defined.

Diamond Body: Lesdar's mastery over his physical form has rendered him immune to all poisons.

Diamond Soul: Lesdar has such mastery over his body, spirit, and mind that he can shrug off many spells, should the spellcaster not be able to overcome his now inherent resistance to hostile magic.

Ki Strike: Lesdar's unarmed strikes are empowered with the ki in his body. As such all of his unarmed strikes are counted as being magical weapons with the adamantine and lawful qualities.

Still Mind: Lesdar's mastery over his mind allows him to resist enchantment spell and powers with greater skill.

Fast Movement: Lesdar travels fifty feet faster when he is unarmored and only carrying a light load.

History:
Lesdar was born of a long forgotten drow house on the edges of the world below that mingled with vampires. Lesdar was born the son of the matron and her consort, eventually the house suffered under the assault of a group of Eilistraee's faithful after one of their number drained a priestess of the dancing lady. The few survivors fled into the darkness of the world above, knowing that the faithful of Lolth would offer them no solace for their consorting with vampires. Lesdar was still little more than a child by drow standards, his vampiric father had taken him under his wing. Lesdar was raised by his father, who turned him shortly after fleeing to the surface, learning to hunt those that would be easy prey and on moonless nights to hunt the faithful of Eilistraee for their houses collapse. Lesdar worked hard until the death of his father at the hands of a powerful priestess of the dancing lady. Lesdar withdrew from his hunting of those that vexed him so and into a cave he thought abandoned. To his surprise he found a cult of Malar, which had just returned from a large hunt. Lesdar joined in on their next hunt to prove his prowess in the hunt and as a way into their cult. Lesdar was correct and the malarites accepted him and allowed him to join in on their hunts. At this time Lesdar had already begun training as a monk. The vampire reveled in the nightly hunts, able to bring down, or at the very least aid, large prey that the malarites had before lost numbers of their faithful to. After a few centuries of the malarites nightly hunts the cult became droll to Lesdar, working under cover of night he lured the a newly established sect of druids of Silvanus to attack the cult through subtle clues as to their location being 'left' after the Hunts. The druids struck out and eradicated the cult while Vincent was stalking his nightly meal. Lesdar returned to find his plan had worked the malarites had been slaughtered by what would appear to be wild animals, the only tracks were that of bears. Lesdar was content with his dark plan's success but retreated from the world once more, mastering the way of the monk and fervently paying homage to Lolth for each kill he made and for her allowing his plan to work. Eventually Lesdar had his hard earned revenge on the shrine of Eilistraee that had caused the collapse of his house and the demise of his father, his slow sadistic vengeance took place over two decades. The priestesses got no rest, no chance to pray and dance, and he permitted them no hope of stopping him. With his vengeance complete, Lesdar traveled back into the world below, he found that very much had changed and nothing was as he remembered from his short life beneath the surface, aside from the worship of Lolth of course. Finding that he wished to avoid the manipulative fingers of the Matron Mothers he joined up with a merchant clan ruled by Master Eilov Rukanyyr. Lesdar rose easily through the ranks of the slaver clan, after securing a two minotaurs for a gladiator order he used his commission from the clan to purchase Defiler from a trader in Au Shinduago.

2. Skill descriptions, please. It's not a hard thing to do.
3. Where/How did he acquire the magical items.

I said specifically, in the guild announcement no less.
Please keep in touch with the moderators reviewing your bloody character.

Is it honestly that hard, to post a reply in your own thread? Really?

If you don't bother doing that, we won't know when you made a change and won't review it.

Sorry for losing my temper.

So he was created when a blood starved slave bit him.. and then he awoke and killed his master?

First, who was his master and why did a slave bite him anyway? Who keeps vampire slaves.. honestly, they would be of little to no use except as assassins and if.. the owner did have the character bitten specificly, how would you kill him when you awoke? You'd obviously be bound and caged, what master would allow his servant to be bitten by a vampire, then just ignore any danger and allow you to wander loose, thus able to kill him in the first place.

Your reasoning is flawed, perhaps a rewrite of the how you became a vampire is in order.

My apologies...

Edited height, added skill descriptors, added magical item histories...

Happened over 1000 years ago, things were bound to be different, such as slave choices. Vampires, while supervised, would make excellent slaves. Having enhanced strength, smarter than the norm of any species, can be kept in place with simple means (holy symbols, silver, etc.), and an easy to acquire food source. Vampire slave was blood starved, he would have acted without logic and attacked the first blood filled entity to be available, Vincent in this case. Having fled afterward to escape punishment the vampire slave was eliminated by a force of house guards brandishing magical weapons...

Blood starved vampires become revenants, at which point they cannot be controlled with holy symbols or any other means.

Vampires would not make good slaves in any way. They are intelligent, ruthless predators with too many powers at their disposal to secure effectively. Intelligence is not a quality you want in your slaves - intelligent slaves have this annoying tendency to revolt.

No matter how good the vampire, he would eventually find a paladin who could eat him for breakfast. They are not little weaklings. Also, how many human wizards will happily create an item for a vampire (bear in mind that magical item creation takes a portion of the wizard's life).

I still want to see more history on the items. A sentence for items this powerful is not sufficient.

A final question which has occurred to me - a newborn vampire lives at the bidding, and under the control of its creator. How exactly did Vincent manage to break this within hours of awaking, to such an extent that he could issue orders for the destruction of his master?

Edited history to account for mental domination of newly spawned vampire. Taking into account that no vampire fights a paladin head on, it is to be assumed that he waited until they were weak enough or vulnerable (Mind you this hunt took years to complete). Elaborated upon magical items, removed ring.

Okay, when you put an update in please bump, otherwise I and others are unlikely to notice. Better is to let those who have commented know that you have updated and ask them to re-read.

Vampires would never, ever make excellent slaves. They are too powerful, too intelligent, and driven by the need for blood. Trolls are a much better choice as they would be just as strong, easier to control, don't see their masters as food, and don't have incredibly powerful mental powers. Sorry, but vampires just do not make good slaves. It doesn't work out.

I shall accept my defeat on the point of vampire slaves...
Other than that what else should be changed?...
