I enjoy watching football. I really do.
Do you guys? I know, they're unappreciative jerks to the MB, but what happens when they actually clap for you? OTL

I don't understand all of the rules, and I'd never play it, but I like watching it. (Our team is the Tennessee State runners-up, the last 2 years.) I actually watched a college football game the other day. Like, actually paid attention to it.

I prefer basketball myself. Since our drumset is in front of the band for pep band I get a front-row seat :3 High school basketball is also fairly exciting to watch, especially when you know people on the team.

I don't understand football. i'm not fond of things I don't understand. But I do have to admit, the games are fun. Even more so when you know a bit more then I did at the first game my freshmana yar.
First game of freshman year, i had never before seen football. Heard of it, but never seen it played. I'm finally beginning to understand it though. Except when they get flagged, i have no clue what team or why. I just get upset if we get pushed back or excited if they do. I know enouhg that I know wha a touchdown is, a field goal, a bad toss and a false start.

i used to be a cheerleader, so I can get the main gist of stuff happening, but I dont know any of the more detailed stuff. I like to watch Nebraska Husker games, though, becasue me parents are from there.

The whole time i did marching band i didn't pay attention to one game. We hated being there. We'd rather have more practice time. Games and parades we always dreaded

Football is okay, just our team never wins. We never really watch because we suck that bad.

I loooove going to football games. I'm not an expert on the rules or anything, but I know enough to enjoy the games, and the atmosphere is really fun.
Our football team has been so inconsistent this past season though...some games have been very well played and some games have been total faceplants. xD It's kind of frustrating, especially because in college, the success of the team affects the band a lot more.

I love football games, but i hate the actual game, the only reason i like the games is because of the band. I don't get the rules for the game, so it doesn't really intrest me.

I've never really gotten into football. There has been a few times that I find myself actually watching the game, but other than that, i usually ignore them. The football players are real jerks to us band members.

I was on the football team for a while, so yeah, I enjoy football. I usually cheer for our school team, except for this year, because we sucked. Our final season was 1-11 (1 win, 11 losses). The only game we won was against our rival school, and we only won by one point. But I pay attention during the games, and I'm on pretty good terms with the football players. I make sure they're on good terms with the rest of the band, too, considering I could kick any one of their asses if they went asking for it. lol

our foot ball team is pretty cool, actually. the Marching Band is super-supportive of them, and even when it's raining in buckets, cold, windy, and we're instrument-less... we're still there cheering them on and shouting "BRING ON THE RAIN!" lol. I think our football guys appreciate it, cause they play really well when we're there for them smile
(BTW at said fb game, when we had no instruments, in the rain, not even uniforms, and the option of not even attending... almost the entire marching band opted to go and support the team AND the HOME TEAM's band didn't even show up! WE were at an away game. THEIR band was beaten out at their HOME FIELD! How cool are we?? smile
