"Roadhouse Blues" is definitely a fun one. Some how, that one just seems to fit road trips.
I really wouldn't mind listening to any of them in the car. I'm sure "Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar)", "Queen of the Highway", "Moonlight Drive", "Break on Through", "Love Her Madly", "Love Me Two Times", and "Riders on the Storm" would totally fit.
The Doors along with many other bands are fun to listen to in the car when I'm with my parents since we'll all sing along xd
What do you all think? surprised

Riders on the Storm somehow seems appropriate. As does Alabama Song, Queen of the Highway and Moonlight Drive. The rest of the ones you listed would work as well.

I was amazed how many would actually fit super well. I mean, "Queen of the Highway", "Riders of the Storm", "Moonlight Drive", etc. have some "driving" theme to them as well as many others.

What a coincidence, because just last night returning to town I was listening to "Moonlight Drive" (With the moon shining, of course), "The End", "Riders on the Storm", "Roadhouse Blues", "Waiting for the Sun" and "Crystal Ship" and then I repeated the same over and over again. So according to me, those are the songs for the road. Especially "The End" at a time when everyone else in the car is sleeping, pitch black outside only the light of your car are to be seen while you drive steadily, slowly, pleasurable.

Yeah, they're good songs to listen to in the car =) I can also see how "The End" would be a great song to play at that time. I really enjoy listening to The Doors in the car =) it makes things fun, just as if I were to listen to any other old rock band I like. When I'm in the car, there has to be something playing >_< that is GOOD. I like being in the passenger's seat because then I have all the control surprised "Land Ho!" and "Peace Frog" may be fun ones to sing to in the car with a group of friends =P

There has to be playing something, but something doesn't mean just anything, it still has to be good.

It isn't that she hates my music, she just asks me if I have to have something playing all the time lol. I just like to listen to something in the car is all. Something entertaining.

I prefer Morrison Hotel during night trips.
