I'm not going to lie when I say this:

~The acting looks pretty bad
~The movie looks kind of cheesy
~It's probably not going to be worth my money

It might be better than it looks, but at the same time, may be a total let down. Can't tell until you see it.

To me, it's like the Harry Potter movies-- The idiots who are responisble for them deserve to go to HELL, and yet I love the books so much I go to see each one the minute it comes out. In costume ^^
And I get the DVDs.

One of my old friends were talking with me about some movies and I mentioned this movie. I'm a bit surprised he saw the preview, because I've only seen it once, and he commented that it seemed a lot more serious than it did in the book, as in there was a bit more humor in the book. That was definitely something I didn't think about ._.

Movie Facts:
Annabeth is a redhead
Grover is black
The movie is nothing like the book
I'm preety sure biggrin that the director didn't even read the book
Percy's mom isn't exactly the prettiest sweatdrop
and Percy uses the ******* back of grover's phone to fight medusa
Some of these facts might be incorrect but I DON'T CARE!!!

For some reason, even though I know it's gonna suck, I'm still going to watch it rofl

I hate how they seem to have crammed all the books together. And, Percy and Luke on the top of a building? what the f--- is up with THAT?

I know! The shield and the Hydra aren't in the first book. It say he uncaps the pen, not click it!

I can't wait to see it just because it's my favorite book series. I'm really excited and am HOPING for the best even though I expect the worst.

I just hate how they made changes for no reasons. I mean at least Harry Potter had the main characters look so much like the descriptions and had them the right ages. Just noticing the fact that the main characters are played by 18 YEAR OLDS when they're supposed to be 12, that's pretty ridiculous and goes against the entire premise. They don't at all pass for 12 year olds. Not to mention Grover and Annabeth don't even look correct in the slightest. That makes me have a sad impression.

Yeah. I hate that. They completely ruined Eragon for me too, and that was one of my favorite books before I got into PJO. They're also about to ruin my other favorite series, the Modern Faerie Tales. Eeew. I'm afraid to go see the movies. ;^; But I know I'll go anyways. It's like I'm a sucker for punishment....

Almost all books that were turned into movies are horrible with the exception of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Go Umpa Lumpas! I think that's how you spell them...

Think it's Oompa Loompas.....

You know, I want to see it. Not because their age, but because of Ms. Dodds. And the car flip is pretty awesome.

Though who else thinks Camp looks weird, and where did Percy get the shield? I thought that he got in the second book.
