Yeah that's right. Cookies. ITS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR WHERE A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKE COOKIES!
I myself am going to make gingerbread men probably in the middle of the night... just randomly. razz Yaaaaaaaa.

I just decorated sugar cookies... haha, I made some gory ones, and some trees. lulz And I got covered in frosting. razz So much fun!

I love making gingerbread houses, ever since I was a kid, but in the last few years I guess I just stopped doing them. I want to do one now ;-;
My folks made some holiday shaped sugar cookies that she let my younger sibs decorate. it was cool to watch them, and my nephew got frosting EVERYWHERE. That was funny lol

we never make gingerbread. not sure why. it's probably because we make so much other stuff XD my mom makes shortbread squares, chocolate covered peanut butter balls, easy no-bake chocolate cookies, chocolate chip cookies, occasionally sugar cookies...we made these "Crispix Snow Drops" from a recipe found on the cereal box, and they were really good, but sweatdrop we should have halved the recipe, because we never managed to eat them all.
there's a bunch of other stuff i'm sure my family makes, but i can't remember them right now >.<

My grandma makes these awesome cookies that are just ritz crackers with peanut butter and a chocolate shell. They are AMAZING.
I frosted a bunch of cookies at a friend's house last night, haha. Yaaay holiday cookies!

I don't know if mom and my grandma and great-aunt's on that side of the family had Cookie Day this year or not, but I should find out. Pity they don't make chocolate crinkles anymore, but maybe they made those white chocolate chip cookies this year. I don't usually bother with making much for the holidays since we always end up having so many leftovers as is. I'm not much one for sweets anyway though.

I'll tell you what baking cookies taught me this year: listen to your mom, not the Food Network. I tried using powdered sugar when rolling the cookies sugar cookie dough instead of flour, and it screwed the color up when I baked them. sweatdrop
Last year I made a gingerbread train for my mom. It turned out really cute, even though I had a little trouble figuring out the piping bag. I think we saved it then ended up having to throw it away.

Spritz cookies and gingerbread cookies, both of them with my mom's recipes and the latter with my mom's homemade frosting. Yummmm.

Jena and I made about 60 gingerbread cookies a few days ago.
She doesn't really like them but she had fun ^_^
And I took some to work yesterday and they're almost gone!
I'm bringing in more today since we have alot left.

I made a ******** ginormous gingerbread house a few weeks back. like at least twenty-thirty pounds when done, two feet tall...
the pics are on my mama's lappy, but its a halloween themed one.

So far we have: Peanut butter, sugar cookies (all decorated), Hershey's kiss drops (peppermint), almond coconut cookies, and now I'm going to make gingerbread... and decorate them with happy faces. :>
Gahhhhhhhh, I'm so excited for Christmas!
