Mercutio paced back and forth in thought. Turning the script away from himself, he muttered the lines under his breath. Turning the script back to him, he checked. The lines were perfect. He was ready for this. Smiling, he looked around the theater, completely at ease. It was empty except for those who were trying out for the play and a few lurkers. An audience, he smirked. He couldn't wait.

Robyn trotted in, moving so that her hooves clapped the stage to get the attention of the hopefuls. "Good morning, one and all, and what a wonderful day we are having. I am looking forward to seeing how brightly you can all shine! Now, you all were given sides to memorize, but, what you were not told, though some of you may have gathered, I gave you all sides from different shows. We will have multiple phases of this audition, because I want to see how well you work together, not just alone, and what part suits you best, as well as what part you suit. We are going to do some vocal warmups as a group, then as individuals. We'll do some small theater games, because, after all, the point is fun. If you don't have high energy levels, that will translate to the audience, but, if you love what you are doing, so will they! We will then do your rehearsed sides. You will each read opposite some one for their audition as a cold reading at least once. Then some improve games to see how you can handle being int he moment, then a cold reading of some new sides for all. Of course there will be regular breaks. Any questions before we begin?" Robyn asked, turning in a circle to see everyone.
Kimora blinked, a little nervous about this pony's energy. Maybe this had been a mistake but... She wanted the world to see her not as a spotted freak... but as some one who could make their day brighter. But... could she ever have this kind of energy?

Mercutio listened intently to Robin and smiled. This was going to be fun. She has jut the right amount of enthusiasm so that things would not be boring or mundane. Looking about, he wondered who he's get partnered with.

Kimora started looking for a place to stand.

Mercutio made his way into the circle and found himself looking at a beautiful spotted creature. She was exquisite, rather shy seeming. He looked at her with a big flash of a smile. "Ello, milady." He bowed slightly to her.

She flushed lightly. "Hi," she said softly. "You want to be an actor too?" she asked softly, still a bit shy and nervous.

Mercutio straightened up flashing his large smile. "Of course milady! It's why we're all here." He watched her intently. "I'm Mercutio, needless to say I was born for this job."

She gave a small giggle and ducked her head. "I'm Kimora... Miss Robyn said that I would like acting, and I think I will... it's just a bit scary now..."

Mercutio made a dashing swipe as if he held a sword. "But I shall protect you from peril, my fair dame! I shall be your champion." Mercutio was starting to fall into the roll of a heroic if modern speaking knight. His eyes glazed over just a bit as he got lost in the role.

He let the words glide over him...I'll stay with you... The seemed real, genuine...like something he had never felt before. He smiled at her charmingly, "I would do anything for your favour milady."

She flushed a small bit. "Thank you..." she murmured.
"Alright my darlings, let us begin. Repeat after me. "What a to do to die today at a minute or two to two. A think distinctly hard to say, but harder still to do. We'll beat a tattoo at a quarter to two with a rattatatatatatoo, and the dragon will come to the beat of the drum at a minute or two to two today, at a minute or two to two, okay"

Mercuti took a small breath, hoping to say this without a hitch. However, he got about half-way through when he said quite a few too many ratttattoo's. He flushd in shame for a moment. "I didn't know when to stop..."he murmmered.

Robyn smiled a bit. "It is a difficult one, we can keep trying. "What a to do to die today..." she began.
