Asher was marching through some light snow, a light dusting on the ground, on his way to the mansion. He wanted to see if he could find anyone, mainly his 'sister'. However he would take whoever he found. It was getting boring talking and hanging out with the same old moonlits day after day. He stopped as he reached the mansion and looked up at it smiling. "Alright! Time to play!" He said humming the Imperial March from Star Wars.

As Lena sat aside from her family and the other Moonlits in the corner of Stalker's room in the upper part of the mansion, she gazed outside with a sigh. Then she'd realized that the ground was white, and flicked her ears up. She liked snow...Without a word, the shy, self-outcasted Moonlit slipped from the room and trotted downstairs, not wanting to be seen. As she emerged however, she had heard a song being sung, coming from around the corner. Tail dropping, she pinned herself against the stairs and waited for the other Moonlit to pass her by - fearing ridicule for her coloring - being the only white pup in a litter of purple and green....

Asher had shook himself when he came inside. A few snowflakes melted on the floor while the rest stuck to him. He began marching forward still humming the Imperial March. He paused when he walked past the stairs and a white female huddled against them. He frowned before turning back to look at her. He cocked his head staring at her.
"Uh...... Why are you standing so close to the stairs? I don't bite..... Oh! Perhaps it was the humming..... I'm not bad like Darth Vadar.... I mean I like him and all, he's a great bad guy, but I'm not one." He said looking her over and noticing her purple paws, "Oh wow! How cool! It looks like you have socks on your front paws!" He looked down at his own paws and frowned. "Man..... I wish I had markings like that. Socks would be so nice."

Still without a word, Lena watched the male pass her on the stairs, hoping desperately that he hadn't seen her. Then he frowned. It was because she was so different, she knew it was....Then, she noticed that his fur was white, too. The closest moonlit she saw that was white was Cher, back in Stalker's room. Maybe....Lena wasn't so different from everyone after all.
"Um..." She tried to advert her gaze once he turned back to look at her. "I just...no reason." Then, a very confused face took over her features as she stared at him, not knowing a single thing he said, "Darth...Vadar?" She asked, before Lena noticed the other wolf's eyes drifting to her purple paws, the only thing she seemed to have in common with the rest of her family. She frowned. Did he think it was weird? His next words surprised her, and her face of confusion only grew to the point where she was staring at him as if he'd spoken another language. She remembered her father telling her once when they were little to accept a compliment, and say thank you. "Um...Thank....you?" her light voice chimed out, but that's all she was able to say as she stared at him, still utterly confused.

Asher wagged his tail as he stared at her paws. When she asked about Darth Vadar his head snapped up. "You... don't know Darth Vadar?! He's the tall evil dark guy in Star Wars! You can't mistake him for anyone else cause of his voice." He said in shock, "You've never seen Star Wars have you? Great movies there. You really should see them. Miss out on so much if you do." He just kept rattling on and on until she thanked him. "Oh you're welcome. I must the purple in your paws and tail make the white in you stand out and make it all so pretty. I mean come on.... who wants to be a pure white wolf. Boring! Add some color into it! Not a lot but a little....." He paused for a second and tilted his head with a puzzled look, "Unless of course..... you like white. Then it's cool. Nothing cooler than a white wolf. Seriously. In the hot sun a white wolf is less likely to heat up and get sun stroke. Ya know?"
((I never realized how much he rambles. ._. I'm sorry.))

At his exclamation, she jumped and moved a bit away from the stairs, backing up just a step or two. It was...a surprise. And his voice was so almost sharp that she took it as an insult. "Star Wars..? No..I haven't even heard of it..." She mused, looking down at her purple paws as well. She liked the color purple. It made her feel connected to her family. Then, as he continued about her markings, she frowned. "I hate my white fur, and I hate that it stands out." She said with a tone that wasn't quite as mean as she hoped it had sounded. It was more like a whining protest - like that of a pup not wanting a bath from its mother. Then, she'd picked out the word 'pretty' from his speech. "...Pretty...?" Her frown disappeared, and reappeared with even more confusion. "How can you think...it's...p....Um..thank you." She was trying to remember what her father had told her about compliments, but it was hard when the thing she hated the most about herself was being put into the spotlight. In an attempt to make conversation, she commented, "Like how your blonde bangs stand out against the white...."

Asher noticed her taking a step back and tilted his head. "Did I startled you? Blue says that I tend to get too excited when it comes to Star Wars..... so I guess I could have." He said before his eyes grew wide, "You've never seen or heard of Star Wars?! Oh my god! I so need to go get my copies so you can watch them!" He paused enough for her to speak and he looked at her in shock/awe. "You.... you hate it? And how does it stand out? ...... In the winter you won't stand out at all... you'll blend in and be a perfect ninja. Sneaking through the snow and happening upon your opponent." He said looking confused, "Yes pretty. Do you have a hearing problem? Shall I speak louder? YOU ARE WELCOME! AND THANK YOU ALTHOUGH I DON'T LIKE HOW I ONLY HAVE GOLDEN BANGS..... WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF I HAD SOME MORE GOLD ON ME."

"It's just...You don't have to be so loud..." She mumbled in reply, with a short and curt nod. "I haven't. How many are there? I haven't really seen much of...well, anything." Then, she looked at him with a fragile firmness, "Yes, I do. It stands out compared to the rest of my family...I hate not fitting in..." Then, she realized something. He was mostly white, too. She fit in with him. "No, it's fi-" She started to reply, before his shouting had cut her off and caused her ears to fall back, wincing. She had debated just walking away at this point, but Lena had finally found someone like her, "And I wish I had more purple..." She mused in agreement. "So..." In an attempt to make conversation, "Tell me more about this 'Star Wars'".

It was Asher's turn to pull his ears back against his skull. "I'm sorry." He said going back to a normal tone, "Didn't mean to yell..... I thought that you had a hearing problem or something." He sat down tilting his head. "You know sometimes not fitting in is better than fitting in. You get to know what you're really like and not what others want you to be like." He said wagging his tail, "There are six movies in the Star Wars series. There's also an animated TV series.... but I prefer the movies. Hm..... well it's mostly about Jedi Knights and they're fight against the Dark side."

Lena didn't know how to treat an apology - since no one had ever done so before. Not even her brother, Brutus, apologized once for the numerous times he had shouted at her. "It's....Okay?" She at least hoped this was the right response - since the courtesy had never been dealt to her before. " I never...really thought about it like that.." Lena murmured, with her eyes to the ground. Brutus was always trying to make her be happy when she had no reason to be that. But now she did. He wasn't telling her to be anything - the first wolf to ever accept her for being different. "Dark side? Are they all dark-furred? Is there a white side, too? Like me?"

Asher wagged his tail happy that she wasn't holding him to his mistake. "That's good." He said nodding, "Yeah it's fun to think outside the box. Never know who you'll surprise then." He laughed at that before laughing again at her questions. "Oh no no no. The movie is about humans..... not us moonlits so they aren't white like us." He said tilting his head, "I would like to see a moonlit version of Star Wars; would be very interesting..... but back to what you were asking...... There is a light side. They're the good guys who use the force to help others. The Dark side is the bad guys who use it to hurt others."

His happiness was just so bright - she wondered where it all came from. One of his smiles caused a chain reaction in her, to smile back, "Well, I am surprised." Lena responded. At the mention of a movie about humans, Lena tilted her head - somewhat interested. "The....force?" She was completely stumped. Again. "But, there are bad guys everywhere." She responded, "So how do you know we're not IN this 'Star Wars'?"

Asher's smile grew as she smiled back. "Which is a good thing. Surprises are nice.... most of the time." He said frowning for a second, "I don't know how to explain the force so you'd understand it. You'd get it though once you saw one of the movies." He nodded and then tilted his head with a slight unhappy confused look. "There are bad guys everywhere but I don't think we're in Star Wars just cause of the fact that no one can use the force or have lightsabers. It would be pretty cool if we were."

Just as Lena would open her mouth to protest surprises being nice, he said it for her. "Yeah..." She agreed shyly. "Then maybe you should show me these movies?" Flashing him a sheepish smile, she felt her cheeks darken with a blush. No one had ever held a conversation with her this long, without making her sad. "Lightsabers? Those sound....scary? Or cool?" She just wasn't sure what to think anymore, as her entire world was being revamped by the kindness of a stranger.

Asher nodded and at her question of seeing the movies he grinned. "I'd love to show you them! Who knows, you might be a Star Wars fan waiting to happen!" He said wagging his tail, "Yeah lightsabers. They're cool.... but can be scary since they can do so much damage. I mean one swipe and it could cut your leg clean off."
