Whenever I see girls in photos or on the web, they have RHS, but often in person I see girls wearing Victorian style boots, goth boots, ballet flats, etc. I ADORE shoes and was wondering what styles/brands were your favorite?
What style of shoes do you wear with your lolita outfits and what style of lolita?

You should try Daily Lolita, if you're stuck in terms of seeing variety online. haha
I wear whatever suits my outfit, though.

I usually wear darker colored heels, but my clothes tend to be darker so yeah, whatever matches too smile Mine aren't really "lolita" though, so I wonder if that's alright sometimes. I just don't like the younger looking mj's or rhs, but I guess my shoes are okay for more ero and classic style?

Actually I have only one pair of shoes for all my lolita clothes which are lolita mary janes of Demonia and fit with being black with a little white almost every outfit. In winter like now I wear common suede fur boots thought, not really lolita but the do their job.

I really like victorian boots, since I'm leaning more towards classic these days, but I have this really cute pair of mary janes I got to go with my first dress. They're red with a little cat face on the toe. They have no heels but a slight platform sole, only about an inch thick. Like this, but in red.

I wear what i can find in a size 11 thats comfortable and goes with my outfit. <3 Most of the time its either ballet flats or something with a low heel. I really want a pair of rocking horse shoes/boots though....

@Kochi- May I ask, are you very tall? Take no offense, please, I'm just curious. I think tall women are beautiful. heart In fact, I'm usually in the 6' range with heels. And, hmm, I wish I knew of places in the states that had RHS... We tend to carry larger sizes than Japan, but all I'm finding are gothic styles, unless that's what you're looking for. If I run into something, I'll be sure to post it. I'm always looking for new shoes.

I am soooo in love with tea party shoes, seriously.
I only buy from Payless. XD
It's amazing what you can find there, though!
I have ballet flats and heels and wedges.
I try to get them in solid colors
so that I can embellish them with my own bows
or dangly charms, or wear decorative socks and anklets with them.
I have a rule - never spend more than $20 on shoes.
And you really would never be able to tell.

If I could, I would loooove to own a pair of Victorian styles boots (and a Rococo inspired mule, but they don't make those - someday I will); it's not the non-affordability I have an issue with, it's just that a lot of them fit narrow to regular width feet, and I have wide width feet T^T
For the most part, when it comes to lolita, I wear flats to small platformed mary janes and shoes with a little heel (mostly the heeled stuff since flats don't offer great support). I used to like the old school shoe wear like RHS and platformed mary janes, but realized how wonky they look today.
