Monsters will first be divided into Class then Type and then Species. Class and Type are determined by dice roll but you can choose whatever Species you want to fight against.

THIS POST WAS STITCHED TOGETHER LIKE FRANKENSTEIN TO KEEP A LIST OF IDEAS, ACTUAL LIST IS ANOTHER POST UP!

This is where you can find all the different types/species of monsters roaming about the land. Each type of monster has several different kinds (species) within it.

Attention! This isn't finished yet!

Monster Super Type: Beasts - These are simply animals that are not necessarily sentient.

Monster Type: Canid (Dogs)

Monster Type: Felid (Cats)

Monster Type: Ursid (Bears)

Monster Type: Avies (Birds)

Monster Type: Pescids (Fish)

Monster Type: Dactylids (Hooved)

Monster Type: Saurians (Tyrant Lizards)

Monster Type: Titanoise (Turtles)

Monster Type: Arthrods (Insects)

Monster Type: Serpids (Snakes)

Monster Type: Plant

Monster Type: Fiends

Monster Type: Wyverns - Dragons with only two legs or less

Monster Super Type: Otherworldly Creatures - Not necessarily man or beast, these are generally magic based monsters.

Elementals

Etherials

Monster Type: Undead - These can be any kind of life, beast or sentient, that has been raised from the dead by some magical force.

Monster Super Type: Humanoids - These either are or were at one point sentient and generally walk on two legs.

Monster Type: Werebeast - These were at one point human but somehow they became part... something else. Any of the monsters in the Beast Super Type can be part of this combination of man and beast.

Monster Type: Giant

Question for the other mods: Should we include all of the races that characters can be in this list? I was thinking that they could be rogues, such as bandits, that roam around attacking travelers. Not sure what you think about this.

Feel free to add anything, I've just laid down the framework and will be working on it periodically.

*note from Sage* ~ I had an idea of separating the monsters according to class instead of according to beast type. shortens the list and such. And I like the rogue idea but they'll simply be described as "Rogues" and there will be some in several of the lower to middle ranks of opponents.
