We know that some celebrities have some words of wisdom and funny quotes that they share. How about we post some of our faves? It can be by one of the members of The Doors or something from the whole group.

I'll post one later when I come home from school.

Here are a few that are said by Jim Morrison that I really like:

"Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is."

Lol, love this one:

"Some of the worst mistakes of my life have been haircuts."

I read this one just yesterday on a shop's wall, the owner was probably a Doors fan. I'll translate it in English for you:
"One day when I was about to go to school I started crying because I didn't have shoes to wear, not much further I saw a person with no legs, and I stopped crying"
I liked it!

Lol, that's a bit of a common saying. Maybe a bit of a edifferent version, but I've definitely heard it...maybe that's where the saying originated, but I dunno.

Really? Hmm...I've heard the saying a few times, but it has been altered a bit. It usually goes like, "I once complained/cried that I had no shoes until I met a person that had no feet."

I've always been in love with the quote,
this is the strangest life I have ever known
Recently i heard a new one from one of jim's poems,
that went like this
Death makes angels of us all and,
gives us wings where we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws.

Oh yeah, I've seen those two quotes on the net and they are very good ones. =]

That's from Waiting from the sun. One of my favorites by the Doors.

I really have no clue. It might've been Jim's quote altered, otherwise they wouldn't have a reason to put his name under that quote if he didn't say it, or would they? O.o

Really? Maybe I didn't listen to that song close enough. I do listen to "Waiting for the Sun" because it's a nice song. Sometimes I tend to not pay attention to lyrics.

Yeah, it must've been changed around a bit and that couldn't been where the quote started.

Totally, they wouldn't just put "Jim Morrison" by the quote for kicks. That'd be odd.

I don't remember it exactly,

Oh yeah, it's an amazing quote. Was it said in the movie made with Van Kilmer about "The Doors"? I thought I heard it at least once in there. If not, then I just read it or heard it in the song.

Just saw the mistake.

"And all the children are insane" from The End
I find this line as intriguing now as I found it when I first heard it, makes me think.
