Odin did not like the cold. For one, it wasn't nearly as comfortable as the nice warmth of spring and summer, with the slight breeze that often accompanied the heat. In that weather, he could stretch out and relax, let the warmth soak in and allow him to move around as much as he pleased. Grass was plentiful, birds sang, and the wind was so friendly, just playing with his mane and feathers as he stood and enjoyed it. Winter, on the other hand, was not nearly as pleasant. It was cold and chilly, with either fierce, freezing winds that blew his mane into his face, or no wind at all. Grass was hard to find, and there was no birdsong either. To top it all off, his usually sleek form was marred by a thicker coat. Yes, it kept him warmer, and yes, he still looked handsome, but he still did not like it. Made him look fatter than he was.
But anyways. He strode through the frosted forest, his tail lashing slightly and mane flat against his golden neck. The beads on his hind legs jingled slightly with each step, though otherwise were silent. His lavender eyes looked ahead of him as he walked, his breath coming out in clouds. It was after rounding a particularly dense group of trees and brush that he saw her. He couldn't believe his eyes. Again? He would never have thought of seeing her again, after that one time. Oh, he had wanted to see her, but never thought he could have. But still, here she was! "Lemona?" he asked softly, his head turning slightly to the side and stretching out. He took a few more steps closer and sidled up to her somewhat, unconsciously wanting to keep her warm. "I didn't think I'd see you again. It's been a long time, hasn't it?"
