my finals are over two weeks from now, but looks like I'm going to be working all winter at the university so it's not really a break.

Technically I get out on the 11th, as that's last day of instruction. But then there's finals week right after that. >_>
I've got three finals that week, since one class has an online final [open book, open note 8D], and another is just a class-long vocabulary "quiz" xD
The remaining three are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Maybe I'll dust off what little art skills I have after this AMV idea I've got materializes. >.>;;

Tomorrow is the last day before my one class starts our finals. It's one class, but it feels like finals season. @_@ I blame the fact that plenty is happening at home now. Our last finals are on the 15th, and we may have a class on the 17th (I don't know). We have to tell stories.
[Edit: And, right after that, we have relatives arriving. They start the trip on the 19th and get here the 20th. @_@ I have no break!...Until January.]

Hi guys! (sorry i didn't come on last weekend - never got around to it)
Anyone got anything exciting planned over xmas?
I finish work at lunch time on the 23rd, then we spend the rest of the day on our company christmas party. They still won't tell us where we're going! Work starts back on January 4th. It's a shame my boyfriend only gets christmas day off, as it would be nice to get away for a bit over new year. Oh well, I suppose you can't really expect time off over the busy season when you're a manager in retail.
It's my mum's birthday on the 21st, so I need to get her a birthday present too soon. I still haven't even started my christmas shopping. I'd normally have it finished by the first week of december. I just haven't been very organised this year. Plus, my boyfriend and i are madly trying to save as much as we can for bond, rent and furniture so we can get our own place, so we're both a little bit stingy with money lately xp
I have to get a kris kringle present at some stage - i have no idea what to get this guy! A bottle of wine is soooo unimaginative. I thought about making some fudge, but it would probably all melt before i got to work.
I'm being watched by hungry parrots on the balcony - all the seed's gone. We put our christmas tree up today and one of the parrots is sitting on the box outside (we only have a plastic tree - real ones are too much trouble). Mum and I are wondering how long it will be before Maggie (our cat) breaks an ornament on the tree or tries to climb the tree.
The parrots are trying to come inside now, so I'd better go see if I can find some seed for them.
And if I don't get back on between now and the 25th, Merry Christmas guys! *huggles*

I have a paper and a final this morning, and then a paper and a presentation on the 15th. Then, I'm done until I decide to go back for more schooling. I love being a senior. :3
