 “Take a look at any given society, reader. A prosperous kingdom. A land in the age of enlightenment. A close-knit city. Tell me, what do you see? Yes, yes: many humans, many cats, many ways of life, many opinions, and many territories to see. All true, dear reader, how astute! Now, may I tell you what I see?
“I see that in any and every given society you will find that love is a wondrous thing that impacts our lives. Pray, heed my words for a moment and give me not the look meant for a crazed cat!” A chuckle bubbled in his throat, deep and amused. “I ramble, yes, and have not the gift of words, but perhaps what I utter might be of interest?
“Aaah, what a gift, love! What an all-powerful emotion to have that could rend or heal one’s heart so, that could influence one’s very actions, one’s very words, one’s very thoughts for better or for worse, that could create such changes as to enlarge one’s understanding or force craters where it had once resided in the heart! What power it is to know love, give love, and in return be loved!
“I have seen many things, dear listener, and I have a wish to share. May you allow me the permission to continue? May I share with you my time? It is all that I have left, friend.
“I see that strays litter the streets of Ikebokuro. Tell me, my dear, is that a product of love? Is that the result of co-existence? Generation after generation of cats locked up in the abodes of humans, in the cages of uncaring two-leggers, in the laboratories or asylums of curious fleshbags?
“In their ‘prosperous’ kingdoms, in their ‘enlightened’ lands, in their ‘close-knit’ cities and ‘exclusive’ villages and ‘warm’ homes, what do I see? I see wasted talent, unwanted and uneducated and unwilling by others to be accepted! Because they are considered physically or mentally handicapped. Because they have been mistreated and know not how to view the world anymore. Because they have been scorned or inflicted with pain due to the inattentive eye of supposed family. Because they are or chose to be different somehow.
“I, too, have been scorned for trying to break free of normality, or the monotonous life I was being forced through. I wear my mistakes every day. I know what it is like to be hated and feared by my own blood-kin, what it is like to be utterly alone and without direction. Time has taught me many things, dear friend. I spent nights wandering aimlessly, living from meal to meal, with such black hatred in my heart for my supposed family who loved me once, for my supposed friends who left me to die without qualm, that I might have been consumed entirely.
“I might have! And then, on the brink of death, on the edge of insanity, when I could almost physically see Death coming for me – xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I had an epiphany.
“It is not right to hate our own kin, but to love, is it not? It is better to spread that love to all others, is it not, than to bring about unnecessary strife and hate? It is better to band together and work towards a brighter future than to simmer in the shadows of a corrupt world, is it not? It is better to be unified under one rule than to bicker amongst ourselves over whose territory is whose, is it not?
“For how else can we exact justice – yes, justice – upon the humans otherwise when we are a broken nation? For how else can we exact justice – justice! – upon those who do not wish for a peaceful rule, who look upon the disfigured and spit, who question your thoughts because they are afraid of new and unexplored ideas, who fight for the sake of being rebellious in wake of their own idle and purposeless lives? Only by coming together. Only by being unified. Only by coming to a complete understanding that all are created equal, regardless of the physical or mental state – the rules of society are a farce, bound by the behaviors of humans who so ruined the beauty of nature with their concrete erections!
“Long before man was here, cats ruled, my friend! It is time to not only come together, but to take back what was ours. The fleshbags are numerous and cancerous, yes, but they have not the cunning that we do!
“Give me your neglected children. Your misunderstood souls. Your twisted youths. Your new-age terrors. Your wronged kinsmen. Your furred and four-legged demons. I will take you all into the comforts of darkness where none but the bravest enter, none but the strongest survive!
“The world dislikes what it cannot control. The world dislikes what it does not know. The world does not like change, my fine-furred friend.

UPDATED APRIL 7TH ~ Hokay, plans have been decided, changes to be had! All that has changed will be in red for your viewing pleasure. PLEASE READ THROUGH IT ALL, AS QUITE A FEW CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE.
Basement Cat and El will be the masters of the newest territory, Gaijin Gesuido! El will head the underground units and BC will head the aboveground units.
What does Basement Cat/El want?
For BC: WORLD DOMINATION. Well, on a smaller scale, and not as plain as that. B.C.’s wish is to unite all of the territories and stop tensions between fellow cats – and instead turn them upon the humans that experiment upon them, collar them and treat them like mindless pets, abuse them like property, and the like. It just so happens that he thinks he’s capable to be the leader of this unification and would prefer that it not be called his “quest for world domination”.
Even if it pretty much is.
He does want to extend a hand out for allies, not completely destroy them right off the bat. Those that openly oppose him, however, will probably find themselves on his “need to get rid of” list, as his vision for peace and victory over the humans can’t involve its sympathizers or those who would top him of course.
For El: He is simply a cat with a terrible grudge against humans and a dislike for the ANBU and all the power they are given. He is a cat given to create chaos and wants nothing more than to topple those who are with too much power.
BC will work in tandem with El's forces to accomplish these goals. World Domination will come later.
The first step to this will be amassing cats to take down The Facility. If your cat is interested, continue reading.
What are BC and El looking for in a cat?
As bolded above, their first step will be towards getting an army ready to take down The Facility that has tortured so many others. Any cat who is willing to fight the human oppressors, spy, create potions, eventually kill, and more are welcome. Anything that can be offered to help is appreciated.
What is the set up?
The territory has a hierarchy based upon the rank of a cat’s job, of which more will be listed below. Note of course that though B.C. is looking for utter territory domination, he keeps a civil profile for himself and his clan, so even warriors need to keep themselves in check when involved with cats of other territories. El will also not stand for even the most aggressive cats disrespecting the leaders and higher-ups.
Where is this territory located?
Gaijin Gesuido is half within the sewers, half within abandoned buildings just above them. As aforementioned, BC leads the aboveground forces and El the below ground ones.

Max Number: 2 (Basement Cat & El)
Like it says on the tin. The heads of the clan keeps everything in check, makes sure things go smoothly, you get the gist. Nothing goes without his or her say and all, and the overseer’s word is law.
General / Guildmaster / Head Cleric
Max Number: 1 per rank for right now, perhaps 2 in the future (??? / ??? / ???)
The General is the cat who leads the warriors into battle, helps train those who are looking to become one, and such in that vein. He or she is a skilled fighter who is able to understand weapons and their strengths and weaknesses. He or she also has a sharper mind than any blade can match, being able to move large groups of warriors in strategic fashion that makes the best use of the lay of the land, wherever that might be.
The Guildmaster is the one in charge of gathering information from other clans. He or she deals with stealthy cats that are proficient in the art of coercion and have the ability to move about without being noticed. If certain souls need to be silenced without making a show of it, these are the cats he commands to deal with such cats. While the General coordinates large groups of cats, the Guildmaster needs to be able to keep control of many smaller groups at once and be able to keep up to date with the other territories; stale information is as bad as a broken sword.
The Head Cleric is the one who is the most knowledgeable in medicinal herbs and other poultices. He or she is in charge of the health of the clan, especially of its warriors who will most likely be the ones injured. The Head Cleric also controls the group of cats who choose the lifestyle of a healer and makes sure they know how to differentiate between the concoction of a poison and the mix of a healing salve.
Warriors / Assassins/ Spies / Healers
Max Number: Unlimited
Warriors of course are the fighting force headed by the General and can specialize with just about any weapon. These are the cats chosen for their strength, endurance, ability to adapt strategy, and perhaps even willingness to fight. Cats are expected to continue their training even if in a time of peace and to take on new recruits with gusto. These also make some of the best hunters and are asked to obtain food for the clan.
Assassins and Spies work under the Guildmaster to hunt for information and silence those who turn traitor against the clan. Some may even become emissaries for the territory if they have a silver tongue. These cats are chosen for their swift feet, cunning, and resourcefulness when put in tight situations. Assassins sometimes work in tandem with the warriors and are required to bring back evidence of their kill when put on assignment. They are to also report back frequently either to their Guildmaster or to Basement Cat himself.
Healers have a strangely ironic name, for they deal with both salves and poisons and are not strictly stuck to healing methods. When an assassin needs acidic coating, unless they know how to make it themselves they will ask for a healer to create one for them. Healers work under the Head Cleric to make sure that sickness does not invade the clan, stitch up wounded cats, and may even stretch their research into diseases for biological warfare use if they please.
Youth
Max Number: Unlimited
These are the younger cats that do not have the experience or maturity to have a rank yet and usually are collared cats or young freecollars. A cat of any higher rank may take them on in an apprenticeship if they feel that the cat in question has potential in their area of expertise. Most often youth are simply cats adopted into the clan rather than having been born there.
