So, at my high school, we have a ton of clubs offered to students. One of the beloved social studies teachers that we have is a huge Harry Potter fan. The whole department actually dressed up as Harry Potter characters for the halloween spirit day, but beside the point. On Wednesday these posters started to pop up on random staircases, advertising a new group students could join if they signed their name. And guess what it was? Dumbledore's Army. I seriously squealed and did a happy dance XD And the group's run by two of the social studies teachers.
Just thought I'd share that, since it was so epically awesome. And I wanted to post a new topic on here.....

I've heard of Schools with official quidditch teams that actually compete with other schools, but I'm not sure what you'd do for a dumbledore's army.

Techia: That's awesome! Most of the time we just talk about HP, but we're thinking about dressing up one day, and having a remake of the Goblet of Fire, recording the whole thing XD Of course, no one will be in danger during the tournament (although we will be using the pool somehow....) but we're going to recreate it somehow. Hopefully -fingers crossed- But yeah, the teacher in charge is one of the biggest HP fans I've ever met, so he gets spaztically into it. It's fantastic XD
