Has anyone read the Warriors Series?
The first series is just Warriors, then Warriors: The New Prophecy and I'm working on Warriors: The Power of Three. I think there is another series coming out soon. There are some mangas out, a couple of 'special edition' books and some 'field guides' out.
I know Erin Hunter has another series, Seekers that involve bears but I have not read them yet.
To sum it up a bit, there are four clans of cats living in the forest and the books go through all of what they have to go through on a day to day basis to survive. It goes through their way of life, what they believe in and whatnot. The New Prophecy deals with humans destroying their home and their search for a new home for example.
It sucks because 2/3rds into my collection of the books, they all of a sudden started coming out in hardback >.< so now I have to wait for each book to come out in paper back so my collection doesn't look weird.
Anywho, if you have read the series:
Who is your favorite cat?
What is your favorite part of the whole series?
Who's character development do you like the best?
What do you like/dislike about it?
Any other thoughts?
My favorite cat is Yellowfang.
My favorite part of the whole series has to be the first 6 books with Tigerclaw's plot. I also really like how the cats who journey to find their new home in The New Prophecy slowly step past clan boundaries and grow together and friends.
I really like Firestar's character development and how he grows from kittypet to apprentice to warrior and to leader. Squirrelpaw and Bramblepaw grow quite nicely too in The New Prophecy.
The only thing that I dislike about it is that the books started in paperback and randomly jumped to hardback. I hate when that happens in a series.

Oooh! I love the Warrior series!
lets see...
Favorite cat: Firestar
Favorite part: in the first book when they take ravenpaw to barley and then they end up becoming warriors at the end.
Character development: Sandstorm
Likes: It's a really unique storyline, and i love cats
Dislikes: When cats I like die
Other thoughts: If i buy all the books, I don't know if I'll have enough room in my room to store them... sweatdrop

Favorite cat: Spottedleaf
Favorite part: The Dark Hour XXD even though it's so horrible it's also so exciting.
Character development: Squirrelflight
Likes: When the apprentices get their warrior names :]
Dislikes: When other cats keep accusin Thunder Clan
Other thoughts: I WANT MORE BOOKS OF THIS SERIES!

Favorite Cat:
This is a hard one...I'd have to say I love Wind, the first WindClan leader. But if I had to choose a cat that was actually in the series, I'd choose Bluestar.
Favorite Part:
Forest of Secrets. So many things were brought into the light, it was crazy! I loved it because the series was still a little innocent int a book-ish way.
Character Development:
Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt. I actually felt like I was in their place. They were judged because of their father and I think that Erin (the three of them) did a awesome job with giving each of them their own way to cope with that.
Likes:
When Warriors get their full names. Half the time, I always have my own idea for their names and then I see the name and I'm like 'Wow. This is perfect for them'! ^^
Dislikes:
When other cats accuse ThunderClan of being softies. And when they stereotype WindClan as weak. I hate stereotypes and they seriously piss me off.
I also did not like it in the latest book when Erin revealed all this stuff at once. Though it was good for Forest of Secrets, it didn't fit well in the latest Power of Three book. Plus, psycho Ashfur? I didn't like it much.
Other thoughts:
I'm in four Warriors guilds, one of them being my own. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for the next book! I also need members for my guild because it's still pretty young. If anyone's interested, the link is in my signature. ^^

I'd have to say Spottedleaf, but also like Bluestar, Halfmoon and Jayfeather
What is your favorite part of the whole series?
hmmm... I liked Leafpool and Crowfeather's love affair in Twilight... I love When Jayfeather went into the past.... I liked Hollyleaf's *spoiler* suicide *end spoiler*

in Power of Three not enough of the cats die, I don't like how ThunderClan are such goody-goodys, I hate how Ashfur turns crazy, how Brambleclaw is deputy when it should be Graystripe, and how some cats live waaaaaaay too long.
Any other thoughts?
In case your wondering why I want more cats to die, I love the sad death scenes even though they make me cry

Good series, but I kind of grew out of them now. D: I loved the Leafpool and Crowfeather thing. Until it fell out. Yeah. sweatdrop
