She's cold and she's cruel But she knows what she's doin' She pushed me in the pool At our last school reunion She laughs at my dreams But I dream about her laughter Strange as it seems She's the one I'm after
'cause she's bittersweet She knocks me off of my feet And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else She's a mystery She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more She's just the girl I'm lookin' for
She can't keep a secret For more than an hour She runs on 100 proof attitude power And the more she ignores me The more I adore her What can I do? I'd do anything for her

As the colorful night sky shone with the last remnants of the sun setting, yet another warm uneventful day came to a close. A sigh left the large male as he perched high atop a tree, chin resting on his paw. It was getting harder and harder on him to go through his life alone. Sure, it had seemed like fun a while back. To be the lone lion others swooned over. But that had never happened, and he quickly decided it might be best to be alone.
Now, as his eyes became un-focused with the usual worry of never finding love, his ears flattened to his head. "Is there nobody out there that doesn't mind blazing red fur?!" Being so high up, his yell carried out on an echo.

Desiree flew over the island, spinning in the fading sunlight and flaunting her beautiful red color. She was the girl most guys would die to have, and she loved the attention. She purred and was about to turn and head home when she heard another lion cry out. Intrigued, she landed delicately among the trees, looking for the source of the cry.

As he watched the sun sink low and finally dissapear, he let his wings open. Another night. He gave a kick and took off, gliding down to the grassy ground where he ended up simply sitting down. Tonight, he'd just stay there in the grass and sleep. Hunger had not hit him anyway. He was about to settle down until his ears picked up the noise of something..."Hello?"

"Hello?" Desiree followed the voice and walked into a clearing, spotting a very handsome lion. "Hello." She flicked her tail and strutted around the male as showily as she could make herself. "What are you doing all alone out here on such a nice night?"
