For those of you who don't know, NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month - occurs during the month of November. During these 30 days, novelists from all over the world try to write a 50,000 word novel before November ends.
I have got a lot of work to do. 50000 words / 30 days = around 1667 words per day, and I am nowhere around where I'm supposed to be. Just out of curiosity, is anyone else participating in this? It's a pretty tough thing to accomplish (although there are people on the NaNoWriMo forums who finished all 50k words on the first day, but they're like machines), but I would suggest you try it. It's only the 6th day right now. I don't think it's too late to join if you work hard.

Indeed. That's quite a bit of work. 3nodding
Do you enter it somewhere or do you just get the feeling of accomplishment when you finish?
I'm working on a story right now that I'm 110 pages into so I probably won't participate. neutral

yup. though i knew i wouldn't make the number so i'm setting a personal aim at 10,000 words. I'm half way through atm but i've kinda stopped accidentally coz of school work taking over in priority.
