So far I haven't seen any girls in drumline. Odd. I am in the drumline for my high school and there are only 3 girls! What's up with that? >[

we have 2 girls in line, 1 in pit and 4 guys in line. Our field commander doubles as pit so that makes 5 I suppose.
There's a band not too far from where I live that most of their drumline one year was girls, like I think it was ours flipped, so like 5 girls and 2 guys XD

We used to have a girl on drumline... two actually. First and third bass. One of them quit because she couldn't afford to march and one switched to mellophone. Our front ensemble's good section (mallets of course) is generally female. But this year there are only 2 girls on mallets and one on piano. And one of our best ones quit because people gave her s**t about being a cheerleader.. and now people are complaining about her quitting.

My freshmen year in highschool we had an all female drumline. In college we have a girl snare, a girl bass, and a few girls on cymbals.

We only had one or two girls in drumline when I was in high school. One of the girls played bass drum, and the other played snare, quads, and bass drum (In other words, everything) during her four years.
