My friend and I were talking on the phone last night about the US and government and such... then we started talking about solving our own country's problems instead of others first.... So we were talking about the border problems and the amount of tax money that goes into that... then we started talking about the welfare system, and using it....
Do you ever find white people in the GD saying how the blacks "use tax payers money cause they are too lazy to get off their asses and get a job".
Excuse me, you missinformed fool, white women have the highest numbers in using welfare. rolleyes
When you go into stores, do you 'stalked', followed, or watched? I used to find it slightly amusing, but now it's just plain annoying. We have off campus lunches and I watch my white friends from school go in and steal up a storm - coming back with 7 packs of gum, enough candy to start a small store, and I've even seen them steal drinks. It amazes me how much white store owners and such single out one group of people...
It reminds me of that one episode of Sister, Sister. And Don't Be A Menace to... I forgot the rest of the title razz
Even at my own job - my brother came in Marshalls one day looking around before I got off, and my manager just sat their and watched him while he browsed.
I've seen white lady's walk through the exit even though the alarm is going off, without anyone stopping them. I've also seen a family of hispanics leaving and the alarm goes off - needless to say, that's the fastest I've ever seen my manager moving.
So what is it that causes this? I'm really leaning towards the media, since white people "search for food" and black people "loot" for it.
Discuss:
- Have you ever been racial profiled?
- What do you think causes these stereotypes and misconceptions?
