Since it's impossible to travel faster then the speed of light the aliens would have had to find away to bend space around them or use a wormhole and even if there's a wormhole near our solar system we don't know of the journey would still take a riduculously long time. I find it improbably soully on the fact that it would require like 50years even under the most favourable of circumstances. I guess it's possible if the race was of far superior intellegence and had found away to break/bend the laws of physics...

I guess it's possible if the race was of far superior intellegence and had found away to break/bend the laws of physics... The only thing that would be breaking the laws of physics would be if they traveled faster than the speed of light (approximately 300 million meters per second, or 670 million miles per hour), which is impossible. But imagine if these aliens were around loooong before the earth was even born. Then perhaps they could be far more advanced than we are, both mentally and technologically. Maybe they did find a way to create a wormhole. However, I fail to see why such advanced intelligence would want to visit a backwater planet such as Earth. Unless, of course, they don't come in peace. domokun

Death T-2 I'm still looking for intelligent life on this planet. >_> haha, you definatly win the internet for the day. I seriously doubt that, if aliens exist, they have visited the Earth.

Jedediah Smith I thought Hollywood or book authors created UFOs? actually the ufo craze started in the 50's i believe (unsure of year). a pilot said he saw this "saucer shaped thing" flying in the sky next to his plane. it was all over the papers and then the term flying saucer was created.

I did mean planet. My spelling is losy. Sorry. Aliens is in quotes because some might be from this planet. Why not visit this backwater place? Humans think they are superior. We could actually be weird to them. Imagine a group that is so intent on destroing themself. Fasinating.

Are there other forms of life out there in the universe? Probably. Will those life-forms ever make it to earth? Highly unlikely. Have they made it here already? No. Have aliens of a more mundane sort ever visited the U.S.? Yes, and, as Sinner pointed out, some of them happen to be Mexican. Go figure.

rftkfan Aliens is in quotes because some might be from this planet. The common definition of the word 'alien' is 'not from this planet'. So, no, they couldn't be from here. rftkfan We could actually be weird to them. We would almost definitely be 'weird' to aliens. rftkfan Imagine a group that is so intent on destroing themself. We aren't intent on destroying ourselves. We're intent on destroying other humans. Conveniently, these achieve the same result. Prove it.
