Things were changing in the pride now. Tahki still hadn't gotten a complete clue that the reason the airs of the pride were slightly different now were due to murders. The lioness only knew that she was not to wander off far from the dens and to only leave the dens if was with her mother.
Foowy.
There were things to do around the den but none of them included long adventures she enjoyed with her friends around the pride. The only time Tahki got to play with her friends now was if they came over to her den. Though, it seemed all the cubs and juve's of the pride were under watchful eyes.
To say the least it sucked.
So Tahki sat at the mouth of the den and just stared out ward. The lioness wanted to make a bolt for it and run through the swamp lands like she had when she was younger. Tahki's tail twitched from side to side as she just stared out wards. Wanting to just run and play.

Small paws padded up behind her and stopped. It was little Wahadi, the runt of Ukosa’s litter and new runt in Kabusha’s family, since Tana had grown. His small size seemed to have no affect on his health. He was bright, playful and deeply interested in the world, which for the moment was very small, like him. Ears back, he glanced back at Kabusha and his brothers and sisters before slowly creeping up next to Tahki.
Wahadi spent most of his time with Kabusha and Tana. Though he saw Tahki every day he hardly ever interacted with her, so he was still shy. “Hello Taka,” he murmured, waiting for her to notice him. Like his two sisters he was still learning how to talk. He seemed to be catching on fast but still had trouble sometimes.

A little voice got the juves ear wiggling. She hadn't noticed her new little brother right next to her. Her mouth opened in a bit of shock. "Where.. When... How'd? Oh you're good!" She tapped him gently with her paw. "Sneaking up on me eh?"
This cub reminded her of Tana with his size. Two runts of the litter she found it highly amusing and cute. Tahki had always thought Tana was in a league of his own with his small size.
The lioness dipped down so that she was eye level with the small cub. "What is it Wahadi?" Tahki smiled at him.

The touch surprised him. Sometimes Wahadi was a bit of a contradiction. Bold when playing with Tana yet timid when making new friends. Tahki’s smile helped him relax a little. “Um… um…” He flicked his tail. “Waiare Taka all alone?”

Tahki nodded, "Taka, " She giggled at the way he said her name. It was cute.
"Yeah, we are all alone Wahadi. Is something wrong? Do you need to go to the bathroom? Is a lizard bothering you?" The juve's brow lifted. She hoped it was a lizard. The lioness hadn't gone evil lizard hunting in a long time.

Wahadi shook his head. He wished there was a lizard bothering him. They were fun to play with. “Bored.” He licked his lips and tried to rephrase his question. Maybe if he put more spaces between his words. “Wai are Taka all alone?”

Tahki lowered her head, "Cause I want out kid, you dig. I wanna go play in the mud and my friends." Her eyes shifted this way and that way as she confessed. The juve was afraid of anyone else hearing.
"And Im not alone any more. You're here silly." Tahki giggled and licked his forehead.

"Dig?" Before he could figure out what she meant a big wet tongue slobbered all over his mane. He stuck out his tongue and furiously wipped at his face. "Argh, no moar kisses!! Yucky!"

Tahki laughed, "Awww come on. It wasn't that bad was it?" Tahki pawed at him playfully.
"Come on lets go out in the front of the dens and play some before momma catches on." She had a dare devil esc smile planted on her maw. The cub would love nothing more then to play in the mud. She hadn't been able to all day.

“Bad,” Wahadi answered stubbornly. He swatted at her paws.
When Tahki suggested they go out and play in the mud a huge grin flew across his little face. He nodded, head bobbing excitedly. As long as Tahki was with him Kabusha wouldn’t mind. He trusted she would take care of him.
Tana told him how much Tahki loved mud. Now she wanted to play with him. He trotted out after her, following eagerly. “We get dirty?”

Tahki laughed and nodded, "Course we will get dirty," She trotted happily not watching where she was going. In a matter of moments she had managed to slip on mud and land on her back. The mud greeted her with a loud CLULUP sound.
She stayed still for a moment still trying to make sense of what had happened only to erupt in laughter. "Man mud makes the funniest noises," She purred and pawed up at Wahadi. "Come on the mud is fine ~"

“Taka!” he gasped, eyes wide with fright. Suddenly Tahki started laughing. Wahadi stared in disbelief. For a second he really thought she was hurt. Was she playing a trick on him? He stood on the edge of the mud puddle and glared at her. He felt like she wanted to make him look stupid.

Tahki stopped laughing and rolled on to her belly to really give her new little brother a good look over. He didn't want to play.
"You don't like the mud?" She just looked at him with a confused expression. The lioness had met others who didn't care for the mud but she always had the same reaction. Disbelief. The mud was the single most awesome thing in her mind.
"It's fun ~ " She chimed and splashed a bout some in it.

Wahadi looked at the mud and then at her. “Taka no hurt?” he asked, his tone unusually critical for a cub his age.
He didn’t want to play with someone who would be mean to him like Dusan. Though he was young, Dusan already taught him how to hate. He hated that his older brother treated him like a lizard that crawled into the den. He hated Dusan, personally, because Dusan hated him.

Tahki nodded, "I was only playing," She smiled at her younger brother, "You can play too if you want. Its a lot of fun. " Tahki went back to her playing.
She had quite an active imagination and easily entertained her self. "Come on in Wahadi, if you dare," She laughed and splashed about in the mud. The juve was now almost completely covered in thick mud. She looked almost like a monster.
