Vampires are legendary creatures said to subsist by feeding on the life essence of living creatures, generally by drinking their blood. Although typically described as undead, some minor traditions believed in vampires that were living people
Vampires were usually reported as bloated in appearance, and ruddy, purplish, or dark in colour; these characteristics were often attributed to the recent drinking of blood. Indeed, blood was often seen seeping from the mouth and nose when one was seen in its shroud or coffin and its left eye was often open. It would be clad in the linen shroud it was buried in, and its teeth, hair, and nails may have grown somewhat, though in general fangs were not a feature.

imavampire13 was this topic really neccisary? i am sure we all like it. im sure you can help to make this guild more healthy ..this guild talks a lot about vampire ..and i love vampire.. sure youre blood taste good

Those afflicted may have increased hair growth, and with repeated damage, their skin tightens and shrinks. When this occurs around the mouth, the canine teeth appear to be more prominent, and suggestive of fangs. At other times, it causes depression and affects the brain to produce peculiar behavior. It is probably no surprise that garlic makes all the symptoms worse. Porphyria is a misunderstood condition that has affected the likes of Mary Queen of Scots and King George III.

That's wicked cool! there are also those people who drink blood as well, and get canine extensions (usually veneers), but they have a couple problems with their stories, 1: the human body cannot survive on blood alone, 2: they dont live a longer lifespan, and 3: they can be killed by any normal means... so... yea... lol

It was turned into that. Years and years of vaguely knowing about something creates rumors, which are then created as truths as the old truth fads.... It was first descovered in England though...
